Does Prolife really care about unborn babies?

The USA has the highest mortality rate of pregnant women of any developed country in the world. #50 among nations.

    http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/...tality-is-getting-worse-We-can-do-better.html

But that is just about women so why would prolifers care about that? Not a word. So forget about any claims of concern that abortions harm women because prolifers don't care about pregnant women.

But what about "unborn babies?" Do prolifers really care about them?

15-20% "unborn babies" are "killed" by miscarriage. A mass slaughter of those "babies." Millions and millions world wide. At least hundreds of thousands a year in the USA if not more. Nearly 40,000 women are hospitalized for miscarriages - and most miscarriages do not require hospitalization.

That's why prolifers are outraged and furiously demanding the government do far, far more research, far more pre-natal care for pregnant women, right?

No, nothing. TOTAL silence. Not a word. You won't find one message among the so-called prolifers on this forum seeking anything about or any concern about miscarriages. Not one peep on the ongoing "genocide of unborn babies" by miscarriages.

The ONLY unborn babies they care about are those that women don't want. Otherwise they don't care about the fetus or the woman whatsoever. It is 100% about controlling women and 0% about unborn babies in my opinion. It isn't so much by what they post or say, but what they don't.

Often you learn more about a person and their true motives by listening to what they are not saying, than by what they are.

The majority of pro-lifers should really refer to themselves as Pro-Life*

And then hand you a pamphlet that says:

    * = Many restrictions and conditions definitely apply

Such as "Not including the children and relatives of the person who handed you this pamphlet."

It is amazing how rapidly a prolifer becomes prochoice when it is their own 15 year old daughter. Then their new belief system is "Shhhh, don't tell anyone" not only prochoice, but fully pro-abortion. It is FAR more common for parents to pressure a pregnant unmarried teen to abortion than continue and have the baby.

I've noticed that being pro-life doesn't mean it extends past the abortion debate, even when the topic is children. And almost always when money is involved. Then they become very much Pro-notmyproblem forgetting of course that a woman getting an abortion is not their problem either.

Or any of their business at all.

I've found that any debate with a Anti-Choicers, if long enough, will reveal a deep hatred for women and a core belief that women should be punished for having sex when they choose with whomever they choose.

Plus the fact that women have the power to choose abortion....no misogynist like the idea of women having any power...

A favorite line of prolife men is that a woman consents to being pregnant when she "spreads her legs." Never "a man agrees to be responsible for a child when he has sex with a female." Never.

Ever read a prolifer post that any man should be prosecuted if he abandons a child - either before or after birth? Never.

Not one single solitary little bit.

The thing that gets to me is they make their true motivation so damnably OBVIOUS, You don't have to talk to a pro-lifer, You just have to examine their policies

if they were really Pro-Life, they would call for free childcare, healthcare, food, for all mothers who choose not to abort.

I think everything that can be done is already being done by the government to stop miscarriage. Just as there is for other natural causes of death.

Miscarriages are mostly unavoidable, but induced abortions are just that; induced.

There is little we can do to stop something from happening spontaneously, but we can stop things from being induced.

If murder was legal, I can guarantee people would be making a much bigger deal about that than people dying of natural causes.

I think they care. I'm pro-truth personally. And I can tell you, I care. I think babies are way better than adults. Why if I had an adult in front of me now, I'd squeeze his gizzards until they popped out his mouth.

I'm not pro-life exactly because I don't want someone to feel stigmatized if she needs the proceedure, but this calous nonsense about it not being a human life it what bothers me. I think babies are the bee's knees and we should all be popping out 557737777378333338 each.

All the average person can do is support research into preterm infant death. There's no bans or restrictions we can enforce to stop a prenate being spontaneously aborted.

I actually donate regularly to the womens and infants research foundation in my city.

That's fine if you believe this assumption about people who disagree with you.

It's convenient how this outlook seems to get you off the hook for having to justify allowing human fetus killings, since no one really cares about fetuses anyway.

I can guess you were plenty relieved when you figured this out.

You cannot stop women from aborting. You can criminalise it but you cannot stop it. Which was evident when it was illegal and women resorted to unsafe abortions.

Do pro-lifers care about the born? Well, lets see:

They do not believe that birth control should be free and provided to women and men.
They feel that a woman should not have the right to abort a pregnancy that the birth control would have prevented.
They do not believe that the woman should have access to social programs to care for the child that the birth control and abortion would have prevented.
They do, however, believe that law enforcement and prisons should receive more funding to house the juvenile delinquent who could have been prevented with birth control or the abortion.

    So... um.... no?

''Pro lifers'' {SIC} are responsible for the death of every aborted baby in the USA.

The Day Judgment is going to be a very hot and telling time for each of these murderers.

Part of the issue is justice, not just life. The unborn deserve protection from someone else unjustly taking away their life.
An analogy could be drawn to homeless people. Many Conservatives who would be more than content to sit on the sidelines and watch the homeless starve would nevertheless be quick to stop a criminal who was running around assaulting homeless people.

And you believe it is JUST that young women be forced to endure unwanted pregnancy and childbirth? As punishment for what?

    Why do fetuses deserve protection?

Conservatives sit on the sidelines laughing at the suffering .....that's because they believe suffering (FOR OTHERS) is good....but killing them outright which stops the suffering

( like abortion and assisted suicide) is bad.

You keep making statements such as the highlighted one above and yet when challenged to defend you assertion you turn yellow and run away .. so yet again Anders argue you case for abortion being unjustly taking away their life .. I'm here waiting.

Well since the woman is likely to get pregnant and the man isnt, it's pretty obvious that the one going to suffer the consequences of pregnancy is the woman. So it is her responsibility. We do get taught to say no ya know.

That's not always easy when you are young but mostly, some people are irresponsible.

It's important to treat women as adults, not babies. Babies don't get pregnant.

So it is your assertion because a man cannot get pregnant he should not have to take any responsibility?

Fully agree hence why they should be the ones making the decisions whether to have an abortion or not, after all "It's important to treat women as adults, not babies." which is exactly what banning abortion does, it treats women as babies who are not capable of making an informed decision for themselves.

The man and woman should both take responsibility, but let's face it, the woman is the one who will get pregnant if anything goes wrong; the woman is the culpable one.
