I don't have a problem with male to female pre-op transexuals using female restrooms. As for changing rooms where there is limited privacy, I would imagine that a genuine transexual would be so "ashamed" of their male bits that they would make all the efforts they could to ensure they weren't seen. Anyone pretending to be transexual who began waving his dick around would just have given the game away...

What it all boils down to is that by allowing both boys and girls to be potentially exposed to both male and female predators, essentially doubling the number of possible predators and victims, the left has chosen their emotion rather than the child's safety.

Also, I would imagine a tranny has tons and tons of emotional problems, so would peeing in the anatomically bathroom really make a difference? Really?

That is really the argument. The issue is NOT discrimination against transsexuals, but the issue is the privacy, comfort, and safety of the 99+% of woman who must use public restrooms. Or traditional guys who prefer an all male environment in a public restroom or public showers. Maybe not a single true transgender person has ever committed a crime of any kind, but there is no way to determine whether a person is a transgender male or a guy just pretending to be one so he can have access to women or little girls in inappropriate or dangerous ways. And of course there is no way to remove all risk in public settings, but strict rules about separation of genders is about the best we can do to achieve the best situation for all.

For the life of me, I have never understood the reasoning that hundred of millions of people must be made uncomfortable or afraid or miserable to prevent a very few from being uncomfortable or afraid or miserable. But for those concerned about those very few:

The man never identified himself as transgender and certainly didn't act like a woman. The Washington rule allows individuals to use facilities "consistent with that individual's gender expression or gender identity." Even the state commission that wrote the rule says that the man's actions are not protected under the rule.

 

I'd really like to see you try that defense in court. Your arguments might make some sense if you demonstrated some understanding of the actual laws and not what you imagine them to be. Gender identity has nothing to do with how you dress or how you feel at the moment.
