I see you haven't been paying attention to who and what Hillary is and the kind of administration she would have given us. Too busy focusing on the attacks against Trump, I'm sure.

Since I didn't vote for her your comments don't apply to me.
What is important is democracy does not apply in this country.
The majority of Americans voted for her and their votes were useless

There's a very valid reason for the Electoral College.
So that huge metropolis like Los Angeles and New York City which are major
population centers do not overtake Society as a whole.
Both California and New York are rewarded with the number of Electoral votes
based on those Population centers.Which is Why Alaska { very big land mass but
few people } gets only 3 Electoral Votes.Alaska is The Largest state in the United
States, about twice the size of Texas.
We know how this works.Like with Al Gore in 2000,the left crafted the meme
that Bush was Illegitimate or Selected not elected because Gore had more
Popular votes.Ironically it was Hillary who made a big deal over it.The MSM will pick
up that meme, where it left off after Bush was Granted Floridas Electoral Votes.
The thingy is ... When Jeb Bush certified the vote in Florida with Secretary of
State Katherine Harris, that was it.There was Constitutionally no other thing
standing in the way from Preventing Bush from being Named President.
But Gore used every Lawyer trick in the book to mount an Election Challenge,
Even using the Dems Favorite Lawyer { David Boies } in Bush vs.Gore.

Gore lost the battleground state, FL. Clinton lost the battleground states, FL, WI, and PA. Gore lost FL because the FL majority voted for Bush, Clinton lost FL, WI, and PA because the FL, WI, and PA majority voted for Trump.

Not sure what part you're failing to grasp. The majority votes did their job.

Good point. Perhaps a compromise is in order... Do away with the electoral vote and be required to show the previous year's tax returns and an ID to cast a vote. I'd love to see who the dems pander to then.

No State has officially certified their states votes yet.You are jumping the gun.
According to you, then,Al Franken should not be a Senator.
He was beat fair & square before they started a recount process in select
    counties with Democrat Officials.

No it did not. The popular vote went to Gore and Hillary.

Since when does the majority votes of Americans fail.
Oh wait, let me answer this for you.

    In America

I said: I see you haven't been paying attention to who and what Hillary is and the kind of administration she would have given us. Too busy focusing on the attacks against Trump, I'm sure. None of this requires that you be a Hillary voter.

Why, so two democratic states can determine the outcome every four years? Yeah I'm sure that's paradise for you. Fortunately each state gives its residents the opportunity to cast a vote and the majority rules. Besides, Clinton hasn't won the popular vote yet. This thread belongs in the hoax bin until then.

Yep. It's no fair. How could Clinton lose? She was supposed to win.

Im concerned about the failure of Democracy in this country.
When the majority of Americans vote for a candidate and that candidate doesn't win, that is failure of this country we should all be concerned about

Its good because you won't have big populated states like Cali and NY to decide who the president is. The founder got it right with the electoral college.

There is no "the popular vote" in this country. There were 50 separate popular votes yesterday. Theae votes were not for the President and Vice-president they were for electors to represent that state in the electoral college. People cast votes accordingly. Were there one huge national vote that tally would be totally different as people would vote differently.

So you can tally up allthe results of those 50 separate and unique elects yesterday but it has no bearing on anything. The STATES elect the president not the PEOPLE. Trump won enough of this separate elections to claim enough electors to win the electoral college vote where the President and Vice-president are elected.

So get over it. The electoral college is going nowhere.

You are confusing Majority as do those with the word Democracy.
The United States is not a Democracy But a Republic.A democracy is
control of a group or populace by a majority of it's members.
Or in Britain a Democracy is a " rule of the majority ".
Our Founders expected that we would have a Democratic Republic.
Power is to be used in Governing based on Elected Representatives.
A Democracy is a government by the majority.
    A Republic is a government in which a restricted group of citizens { Politicians }
form a political unit with charters and by-laws and a Constitution to abide.
Part of those by-laws is the determination of an Electoral College.
Our Founders specifically did not want Rule by the Majority.

She is leading in the popular vote.
So with this in mind there should not be a president elect until the popular vote count is completed.
Another reason to end the pathetic electoral college disaster

No, the majority of Americans did not vote for her. The majority of Americans voted for Trump, Johnson, Stein and "other".

Democracy is over rated, its been well known for 500 years that direct democracy is a path to national suicide. No country with direct democracy has survived very long. Ben Franklin warned us of such a system, so did Hobbes, Locke, Machiavelli.
