That's interesting. We (as a family) weren't so keen to travel there in the past five years (for reasons of racial discord), but we're actually okay with it now. Mind you, we wouldn't set foot in California - under any circumstances.

I think the key message is that we should not measure the "awful-ness" of something by how frequently it occurs. We should measure it by its intrinsic/innate characteristics.

I'm in Arizona. We have lots of tourists, all the time. They come from all over the world to see our natural beauty, and to relax in a climate of freedom, law, and order. That is not common in this world, and most people in the world know this, too.

So foreign leftists or 3rd world terrorists threatening to boycott my state are cheerfully encouraged to do so.

Who here hates Mexicans? I can't say I've seen a single one here. Americans hate lawbreakers invading our nation without an invite. There are procedures to follow and from now on, they will follow them. None get a pass or grandfathered just because the law wasn't previously enforced. That's how this is going to work.

# 3 - The right wing got something terribly wrong. They have the naturalization laws crossed with unalienable Rights. Citizenship is a privilege; unalienable Rights are above the reach of government

# 4 - The right wing / anti-immigrant - Tea Party / build the wall guys have spent TRILLIONS of dollars over the last fifteen years. They have cost us in terms of money, lost Liberties and fewer freedoms. They have gutted the Constitution and created the ultimate POLICE STATE. It exceeds the Orwellian nightmare

# 5 - I would support a ninety day moratorium on any new immigration IF the right would agree that we need a Guest Worker program with no automatic path to citizenship.

Why do righties on this forum get so worked up about brown people coming into the US? They seem to whoop and cheer any time one of their heroes in government bans or proposes banning them from entering, no matter the details.
