Not necessarily, plenty of countries went through worse crisises in the past and survived. On top of that - statistics is not the most accurate science, especially when presented without source.

I am fairly sure ukrainians can make it, if will elect decent people in parlament and presidency.

 

I am not surprised a foreigner spits out that сrap about "starvation" and "alcoholism", but global warming..? You can not be that absent minded. We have millions of our citizens living in coastal cities, one of which is basically our second capital and houses second greatest amount of residents among cities of country - global warming would be a disaster for us just by flooding them - and that is without taking in account climate changes that can ruin agricultural sector and lead to a real actual starvation.

And that is for "need of oil"? We're the second biggest exporter of oil on the planet. We don't need oil - we're selling oil.
