He is not more reliable. The poll is more credible because it reports against the bias.
It was probably intended to give the DP a heads up. Many thoughtful left wing thinkers have been warning their base about the DP's flawed strategy for taking down Trump.

 

The bipartisan political class hates him more than ever, but most ordinary Americans have learned to dismiss the MSM as Fake News, Trump's support will be very durable.

It's not, he picked it because it has trump unusually higher than the average, which is 36%. Nothing more. Nothing less. He's using a random poll he saw that has Trump at 44% to say the average should be boosted by 10 points.....which is absolutely insane and in no way how aggregates work. It's like me randomly picking Gallop and saying the average should be subtracted by 2 points just because I said so. He is not using science, just opinion.

Simple really. Trump, as a minority stake holder in a casino, and having no relationship with the actual "launderers" if there were any, had no duties, or personal obligations to document or report casino pay outs. His Trump U get rich quick seminars weren't paid for with gov't educational grants. Trump U wasn't accredited either. He settled with disgruntled attendees. Had circumstances been different, as in cases like Remminton, Brown Mackie, DeVRy, who were forced to pay $294, $95, $49 million in fines for dfrauding students and US student loan entities, things may have gone differently.

 

I'm afraid there are 2 investigations ... 1 DOJ, 1 congressional.

 

BTW this 34-36% national approval is sound. Many of these same pollsters displayed the proper PV and had a very small error rates perfectly within margin for the 2016, 2012, 2008, and 2004 national opinion polls (not electorate).

On average, their methods work perfectly for this measure. It's actually a great example of proper polling functionality. Sadly this method does not hold up as well for a few select State polls and the EC, but that's off-topic.

 

Trump has consistently had the problem of people not expressing support for him in polls yet the election shows that they did actually support him when it mattered in sufficient numbers to make him POTUS.

 

He has so much money and being a celebrity, people are afraid to sue him. And when it appears he might lose or he just wants it to go away (like with Trump U fraud cases), he settles out of court.

Most of these Executive Orders have little actual force.

The manufacturing index has gone up due to the economy Trump inherited, not because of anything he did. In fact, he has been loudly boasting about the economy. His only real contribution is doing nothing.

Allied spending on NATO has NOT increased by $10 billion. Committments to do so have. But the money has not appeared.

 

Trump has never been on a team, and does not lead one.

Even during the campaign, Trump goaded and tried to bully Republican leaders.

They viewed his with considerable unease and total distrust. Trump did nothing to build either trust or comfort. Instead he continued to bluster and bully.

That's not what leaders do. Which is why Trump is not, and never has been any kind of leader.

Which is why the American Presidency is at a historic low point. The office is held by an intellectural pygmy, a man with no integrity, no moral compass, no empathy, and no leadership skills.
