    I would lose my job today if I was accused of a crime. I would lose my job today if I jeopardize my employer's reputation in any way. People get suspended without pay all the time when charges are levied against them.

    Moore doesn't have the job yet anyway.

    Agreed. OTOH, I do think, in many instances, it's a form of mental illness. Very unhealthy.

    Being a highly partisan or bigoted person isn't, IMHO, caused by a political group but mentally ill and bigoted people are drawn to such groups to give them an excuse for their beliefs.

    The fact that someone hates half the people in their own country speaks volumes. Geographic bigotry is no different than burning crosses... just involves a lot more than 12% of the population.

    I have no idea if Moore was guilty of any crime 40 years ago. But lies like those told in this OP (the girl was 16 and of legal age... Roy Moore was 30, not 32) tend to make the whole thing look like a witch hunt. Which is worse... a man who likes 'sugar babies' half his age (but legal), or politicians paying women to ruin some guys life.

    I hope Moore wins so their heads will explode. ;)

    If they are legal, that's not a problem....unless it's illegal touching AKA sexual assault. Yes, people who pay others to ruin someone's life are wrong and probably criminally prosecutable.
