I hate bigotry and I hate prejudiced and your comment is an example of what those things can produce.

Anyone with the slightest understanding of firearms and shooting sports, along with the strength of character to be honest about them, knows that the firearm itself takes a back seat to the capabilities of the shooter and the environment in which they are shooting.

I was cycling through Fox News, MSNBC and CNN on my XM radio. You know I wish they would come on and say "There is an active shooter situation at the You Tube building when we know what we are talking about and the active shooter phase has ended we'll get you the details". The conflicting and contradictory statements of alleged witnesses was horrible and confusing and added nothing except rumour and conjecture. Some were sure it was a man, some were sure it was a woman, rapid fire single shots. One guy I heard on one of these stations said he was at the Carl Jr's and saw the man shoot one girl then saw the man shoot another woman and put 10 shots into her while she was on the ground.

Get it first, not accurate, not with a producer actually reviewing what is going to go out over the airwaves people will take as fact.

2. They infringe upon people's rights by forcing them and the firearm manufacturers to contentiously jump through hoops.

California went after magazines, then they made it so you needed a tool to eject the magazine, the they made it so the rifle's upper and lower had to be separated in order to eject the magazine, next they'll probably require the firearm be sent back to the manufacturer to have the magazine ejected.
