Child Separation "Issue" Is Democrat Scam

The Rule was needed due to the loopholes in the law, and to act as a deterrent for adult illegal aliens bringing children into the US.

As pointed out children were being brought into the US and it wasn't by their parents or a relative.

These people are coming from El Salvado,Guetemala & other countries asking for asylum, he is saying that these people asking for asylum has to go to ports of entry to apply, he says these people aren't doing that---that they are all illegal---
Well,even if that's the case, instead of arresting them all, how about directing these people to the proper place ---but these people are "not" all, drug runners or rapists or smugglers, what a crock----

As the outrage over President Trump's enforcement of immigration law continues, leaders in the Democrat party are speaking out in full force.

Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is one of them.

There's just one problem. Back in 2014 when Clinton was gearing up for another presidential run, she argued children of illegal immigrants aren't entitled to stay in the United States.

"Should they [children] be able to stay here? It's safer," CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour asked during an interview.

"It may be safer, but that's not the answer," Clinton said. "We need to provide more border security in southern Mexico. They should be sent back as soon as it can be determined who the responsible adults in their families are."

"All of them who can be should be reunited with their families," she continued. "We have to send a clear message: just because your child gets across the border, doesn't mean your child gets to stay. We don't want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or that will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey."

President Barack Obama made the same argument President Donald Trump has been making about the problems with current immigration law.

"Do not send your children to the border," Obama said. "The problem is that under current law, once those kids come across the border, there is a system in which we're supposed to process them, take care of them until we can send them back."

The first major unaccompanied minor crisis occurred in 2014 when tens-of-thousands of illegal alien children crossed the southern border with Mexico without their parents. Today, that crisis continues. While many illegal immigrants are adults with children crossing as "family units," the vast majority are unaccompanied minors.....snip~

And what many don't seem to recall is that immigration has always been a political football and the results have always been the cultivation of very negative, hateful attitudes among the public regarding the immigrants. Think about the reception the Irish got. Think about the Italians and the Portuguese, and the Chinese. Immigrants ALWAYS come here poor. If an Italian was doing exceptionally well in Italy, they wouldn't want to leave. The USA is always seen as an opportunity. And the poverty and the lack of education of immigrants has always been the basis of public prejudice against them.

Now the trump administration is fanning the flames of prejudice to get immigration reform of their design in place.

Obama was a big disappointment, but his administration didn't do anything like this. Under him, these children and their parents were tracked for later reunion, the kids' other relatives were found and placed with them, and this trauma was avoided. Get educated! I suppose you don't know that in most cases no record connecting parent with child is being kept and reuniting them in the future is all but impossible.
