Japan has had enough and after almost 3/4 of the century the Department of the Navy couldn't fix the problem.

Talking to Navy and Marine JAG officers, fixing the problem wouldn't be politically correct or constitutional.

So the Japanese government decided to fix the problem by kicking U.S. Marines off the "rock" and redeploying them to Guam and Australia.

U.S. Air Force airmen get to stay at Kadena Air Force Base because airmen act like Americans and don't run all over the "Rock" raping Japanese women and little girls.

 

Interesting footnote as long before the civil right movement there was incidents of Federal black troops after being mistreated by local whites, mainly in the deep south, arming themselves and then cleaning house.

Of course the result was that such behaviors was deal with harshly by the military with up to the hanging of the black troops involved.

The point being that military training cut both ways.

 

It has it's good and it had it's bad, probably more good than bad.

Enough to change the whole set up no, but I do believe there are a lot who have the mindset of the sheetwearers.

No, it wasn't. The Military Times poll was about white nationalism and the concerns of military personnel on how it affected national security. It also mentioned other threats, but white nationalism was at the top of the list.

Racism is a flaw in human nature and all nations are guilty of having it. The best nations do their best to educate citizens away from it. As others have pointed out, racism against whites is as bad as racism against blacks. Obviously, in a nation that is 74% white and 13% black, there is less racism against whites than black, but all racism is wrong. The actions of seven decades ago do not justify actions in the present.
