Personal integrity is as important to me as policy. Which is why I voted for Johnson in 2016 and will be looking for an alternative to Trump and the Fake Indian.

Harris had to stand out and thumping Biden was a bonus. Her ratings and contributions will climb now. Mission accomplished. Politics ain't bean ball.

Fortunately, we have a President who is calm, thoughtful, moderate, who never uses excessive language and who never perceives himself to be more intelligent than he really is.

So a leftist is calling Black Willie Brown . . . a . . . liar? Sweet! Now what would the Left have said about doubting the word of a Black man during the Obama era? There was a specific political card that they whipped out and slapped down on the table whenever Obama received any criticism whatsoever. Oh well perhaps it will come to me. Oops . . . now I sound like Kamala talking to political sugar daddy Willie Brown.

    Agreed.
Now for a bit in insight from past lover of Kamila Harris, 85 year old Willie Brown,
"Democrats have a 2020 problem: Trump is good at elections"
"Make no mistake, President Trump’s State of the Union address was the kickoff for his 2020 re-election campaign, and so far I’ve yet to see a Democrat who can beat him."

But . . . from 2008 through 2017 anyone Right of Center should already KNOW that pulling the Race Card in a gratuitous manner is a primary hallmark of the political Left; and so how could this possibly be a surprise?

    Trump by a landslide.

    Polls are wrong again.

In fact, didn't he win Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Florida by an overwhelming majority?

It's the dope who didn't win the popular vote. Most people didn't want him. That guy.

Well while her school may have been more "integrated" we don't know it was better or that she would have done worse had she not been bussed. Her parents were both quite successful and one being a cancer research scientist the other a UC Berkeley economics professor. By the time she was 12 her parents had divorced and her mother moved to Canada to take a research job there and Harris graduated in Canada. And BTW Oakland schools were desegregated the year she was born.

What forced busing did was tear the country and neighborhoods apart trying to reach some quota even though when the CRA was past it was under the provisions no quota's would ever have to be met.

He won the popular votes in twice as many states as his opponent.

    Nope

"“You know, there was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools and she was bussed to school every day and that little girl was me,” Harris told Biden.

She repeated the line later in her exchange after accusing Biden of being opposed to busing in America."

The schools there were integrated the year after she was born. The school she was later bused to was already 3% black.

Harris had highly educated parents and as many advantages as a society that still discriminates against blacks could possibly provide as compensation. Her parents could have lived in the community where Harris was bused as a child. Harris was taking Biden down because she needs black votes to make her candidacy viable.

You don't seem to recognize that most blacks still suffer from discrimination. Harris is the exception and a perfect example of why we should make help for disadvantaged Americans based on need and not race, ethnicity, or gender. I want to see us help people--and it will cost real money--but we should let need take care of the negative impact of race. It makes no sense to help a child with Harris' background and ignore the child of impoverished Appalachian whites.

Trump have been nasty to his political opponents with vicious lies yet I don't see any of you call him out? Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Trump tried to shut up Stormy. Did Harris tried to do the same with Brown?

I have been following this on the telly, and commentators are nearly unanimous in saying Harris won the interaction with Biden.

There is another side to this. Biden acted like gentleman and largely refrained from attacking a Democrat and a woman.

What if Biden unloaded on the woman like this woman unloaded on Biden. What if he slammed her with his 40 years experience in Washington on civil rights compared to Harris's six months. What if he didn't allow the woman to respond just as this woman didn't allow Biden to respond. At times, Biden patiently waited for Harris to finish before responding. Harris often interrupted Biden's reply. Yet, they say Harris won the exchange.

By giving her best imitation of Trump in one-on-one scenarios? That's winning?

What if Biden had unleashed on Harris. What would be the reaction then? "Biden, with the advantage of experience, unloaded on a poor, frail, black woman." "Harris didn't stand a chance." "What a cad."

Harris was dead wrong. She should have talked about her goals should she become President. She should not have attacked a fellow Democrat. If she felt the need to attack someone, she should have attacked Trump.

Harris forgot that she and Biden are on the same team.

Biden did not forget that crucial factor.

Biden was unprepared assuming his stature as vice president was enough, in my opinion. Mistake he can not repeat. Biden is the senior statesman and wise but is defensive.

    It'll come later.

At this stage, there is no need to seduce the independent electorate. And we agree that 100% of Democrats already hate Trump.

    It's every man/woman for himself.

In the end, there will only be one candidate left to win the primaries.
