And nothing racist about it but when you have nothing of merit with which to rebut. These are simply expressing their opinions that these four members of Congress who band together as the freshman squad have no type of inherent protect and immunity from criticism PERIOD. These particular people believe they are lacking of intellectual substance and reading many of their tweets and statements could certainly come to that conclusion. They have every right to call them idiots and people do to call Trump and idiot.

But what do they turn to..........throw the race card so everyone just sighs and turns their heads.

Gun shop's billboard targeting Democratic congresswomen sparks outcry: 'Racist'

A North Carolina gun shop ignited a social media firestorm with a billboard calling 4 congresswomen — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota — “idiots.”

The Facebook post immediately generated an influx of shares and comments. Some condemned the store for the billboard’s message.

“So much stupidity on here,” someone commented. “Regardless if you like their opinion or not they are entitled to it. They were voted in by a majority that agrees with them. Stop showing how uneducated some of you are bc you don't understand simple facts.”

    https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/gun...resswomen-sparks-outcry-racist-202646270.html

Note the specious argument being made by the commenter. No one said these members of congress did not have their right to their opinion, the issue is the people who put up the billboard's right to THEIR opinion. Nothing uneducated about that perhaps it is the commenter's problem with understanding simple facts.

It's just the fact that a memo was sent out stating that it's simply racist to criticize any POC, some of us read it, laughed, balled it up and threw it in the trash where it belongs.

The left: "They're entitled to their opinion!"

Also the left: "You need to stop having opinions, racists!"

Nothing racist there but is it sexist to call them the Squaws instead of the Squad?

Note that the Yahoo headline is a lie. There’s nothing in their article suggesting anyone called the billboard racist.

I’m pretty sure they’re expressing the opinion of “Come buy our stuff!”

Trump essentially of did say that in his initial tweet, saying that before they're allowed to express their opinion about America, they have to go and fix all the problems in the various countries of their origins. Given that they’re US citizens and, more importantly, elected representatives, that position is indefensible. I didn’t see anyone directly say the creators of the billboard poster have no right to express their opinion but that opinion is free to be challenged and criticised as it has been.

For what it’s worth, I think they’re all as bad as each other. As per the one quote from the article which will be sadly ignored by everyone; “Until we can learn to disagree with respect and kindness, our country cannot aspire to greatness. Debate with intellect, reason, and compassion what is best for the country we love and move forward. We are better than this.”

And their opinion of these four members of Congress.

He challenged their opinions and they all wear their heritage and from where it comes on their sleeves constantly reminding us. Telling them they should perhaps go there and fix the problems there and then come back and show us what worked was NOT racist nor denying them their opinions.

Yes they all should tone down the rhetoric like maybe stop with every breath calling Trump a racist even when there is no racism involved.

As a tool for their marketing campaign. It will generate more dollars than votes.

He was denying them their opinions. He essentially said that they have no right to challenge the US government because the countries of their heritage are in poor conditions, that they're not permitted to speak out until after they've fixed everything in those foreign countries. Its a basis to dismiss anything they say, legitimate or not, out of hand. Significantly, it's also a basis to dismiss anything they say on behalf of their constituents as elected representatives.

I've never called it racist but I consider it discriminatory because that line only applies to people with foreign heritage by definition. He treated those elected representatives differently to how he treats any others who criticise him based exclusively on their ethnic backgrounds.

Clearly, the business owner is a genius. Nothing is better for a business than to piss off a chunk of your customer base. Any businessman that does so is not only an idiot, but an idiot with an economic death wish.

As usual, things look a little different when Trump's actual words are used.

    Trump said:
"Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how.......it is done."
This is not a denial of their opinions, a declaration that they have no right to challenge the US government, or an implication that they are not permitted to speak until they fixed the placed of their ancestry.

Why, under the same circumstances, do you think Trump would not say this to someone Russian or Croatian or Greek extraction?

Doesn't the "Then come back..." imply that they shouldn't criticise the US government until after they've fixed everything in those countries?

I think he would if he thought it would play well as in the polls, and that would be discriminatory too. He would still be treating US citizens who have been elected to Congress differently on the basis of their foreign heritage alone. That is the very definition of undue discrimination.

Many Liberals are anti-gun, so they wouldn't shop there anyway. He's not losing their business.
Conservatives, who are more likely to buy guns, would probably find the billboard amusing and
might be encouraged to shop there. Liberals call Trump an idiot, and worse, all the time, so they
really can't complain about calling those women idiots. And, of course, Trump calls names all the
time - which I find to be very un-presidential. Its a sign of the times (no pun intended). I might
think someone is an idiot, but I wouldn't be rude enough to say so. It would nice if we could
think of those who disagree with us as misguided, rather than stupid and evil - but that kind
    of civility died long ago.

":... and show it how it is done."
That is, if your ideas are so good, show us that they work in places that need them a lot more than we do.
This is not a denial of their opinions, a declaration that they have no right to challenge the US government, or an implication that they are not permitted to speak until they fixed the placed of their ancestry.
Wait... if you agree he would say something like that to -anyone- of -any- ethnic origin, it is discriminatory?
    How does that work?
