I did not need to learn about NAZIS or Russian Communists on school all I had to do is listen to my parents tell me a few s things about the forced labor camps run by Germans and how Russians sent my grandfathers to Siberia. In fact I educated my teachers about NAZIS and Comminists.

There is nothing wrong with any way NAZIS or Communists are eliminated. What is important that those evil philosophies are eliminated.

 

That's funny, I have two 6th grade boys who are obsessed with WW2 history. The rest only want to hear about the guns. Most of them had heard of Hitler, though.

Which these days means they were likely doing nothing Nazi related at all, because if they were, that context would've been included and it would be the only thing on TV for the next month.

 

Killing most everyone during WWII seemed to be very popular.....I think we succeeded in killing off about 55 million of our fellow earth dwellers in a short amount of time. But today, the only folks we seem to glorify in killing on film are those ‘Natzis’......i.e. Germans

 

I once heard that making Vietnam war movies using Asians as the Vietnamese would be stereotyping and racist. I think Mel Gibson made the last Vietnam war movie and that will be the last one. Today, even a moment of silence on 9/11 is considered offensive and racist to a particular group of people.

Here is my take on it.
Hogan's Heros used to be funny. It was OK to talk about the nazis, make fun of nazis and teach about the nazis.
Now the whole subject is taboo. A guy I went to school with taught marching band for a small Texas school and one of his half time shows was songs of WWII. They played music from several countries and would wave flags of those countries. This included Germany (of course).

He was fired.

The theme of the show didn't matter. He flew the nazi flags and played the nazi music therfore he must be a nazi. This is what the land of the free thinking, open minded, 9 second news reel has done to us.

 

And everyone’s favorite, come to school dressed as a Muslim during the height of ISIS, was just just fine with a lot of people.

 

At least it was a song associated with the Nazis ('Erika' for those interested) and not a Kaiser era song that so many wish to place under the Nazi banner.

I have lost count of how many times I have had to tell people that 'Die Wacht am Rhein' or 'Argonnerwaldlied' are not Nazi songs.

 

They are far more guilty of anti semitism than trump is of racism.

 

Under certain circumstances I have no issue with people using offensive expression to make a point.

It's different in my country where expression which is reasonably likely to insult, offend or humiliate protected classes is illegal.

 

This is definitely worth watching. Its amazing how stuck they were.

Keep in mind, HS kids were pouring into emergency rooms after taking the "Tide pod" challenge. Kids do stupid sh!t everyday that just defies all logic. I'm sure the parents have a date with the school board already.

Here's what we know to be true...the antisemites such as AOC + 3 are in the democratic party advocating hatred against Israel. Since the democratic party plus Nancy Pelosi backs their actions and won't speak out against them, they must be antisemitic as well.
