    What a dumb comment, that is not why.

    We need more technical degrees and better Professors to teach them. They need curriculums that will result in a job after Graduation that pays a salary high enough to pay back any loans and living expenses. Big problem for many Grads.

    And I would never attend or send my kid to the "elite" College's. They are definitely biased when it comes to Politics. I could live with them if they taught both views and talked Politics in the appropriate classes, but they dont.

    Well, then the only path open to them is a liberal education. Conservatives revise history to suit their needs and Trumpeizdas are wrong or make stuff up 99 times out of 100.

    Looking at this thread and this forum in general, there is definitely a lot of lack of valuing educators at all levels. So, where is the education actually coming from, if not from educators?

    Liberal Arts make up a very small percentage of most Universities. UCLA has a great Arts Department, yet it is also the birthplace of
    the internet. UC Davis was very political last election, but it also has the best Vet School in the Nation and one of the best Agriculture Schools. Hundreds of billions of dollars in inventions and scientific and medical discoveries have come out of the University
    of California schools ... yet Republicans "hate" them? How stupid are they?

    Let us be honest here. There is the guilt of revision of history by both sides. Or we can say the twisting of history.

    On Columbus the right wing wil never admitt that Chris "found" the Americas by accident. He was trying to find a passage to India and the Americas got in his way. So now we call the original people of the Americas Indians. The right wing never admits that Chris FUBAR'd. Not honest guys.

    The left wing will usually try to enhance the participation of let's say minorities in historic events. Hey guys gays, Blacks, women were not part of most events so why exaggerate. That is not a defense of exclusion it is a fact of life, of history.

    It is not so much that Republicans hate higher education it is that right wing anus heads fear that they will be confronted with the truth. The truth to many rights wingers is like garlic to Vampires.

    Colleges do tend to have more liberal types than conservative staff. So fight them. Do not shrink like violets during a fall frost.

    I think the left wing professors are the only reason for this negative poll.

    From what I have seen in recent years, colleges have thrown the first amendment out the window and anyone with a conservative view is an outcast.

    I will send my kids to the college of my choice, only because it is needed these days.
    I sure won’t be sending them for their professors political views.

    Too bad parents don’t meet with the professors. I would buy a MAGA hat. Just for the occasion.
