that they did .. more than 40,000 from over 110 nations heeded the call to Holy Jihad - to join the radical Islamist proxy army that was armed, supplied and supported by numerous nations states - an effort led by Obama.

The Islamic State – also known as ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh – emerged from the remnants of al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), a local offshoot of al Qaeda founded by Abu Musab al Zarqawi in 2004.

You're talking about a lost 'utopia' - the good times of the later 20thC, when any degree was a good investment. Our kids MUST look ahead, and there is unequivocal agreement that the future (in terms of education) is STEM.

Sure, it's super nice to be able to indulge the philosophical and 'creative', but that stuff is only accessible to the masses when times are so good that we can afford to neglect survival skills. It's a complacency, to rest on the assumption that things still work they way they did in 1995. And our kids pay the price for that complacency.

Case in point. A young American woman with 'financial problems', resulting from student loans. She majored in some arts thing, and added two years for a second major in something equally indulgent. Her problem is that at age 26, the only job she's been able to get is minimum wage in fast food. She can barely pay her rent, much less pay down the $200k student loan debt.

It did not emerge from the remnants of ISIS in Iraq. The "Islamic State" of Iraq and Syria - resulted from the radical Islamist groups in Syria coalescing and forming an Islamic State. Al Zarqawi then assumed the leadership.

There were many many Islamist Jihadist groups in Syria - these groups coalesced into bigger groups such as the Islamic Front - later on these groups merged with either Al Qaeda or signed up with the Islamic State.

Here is one of the larger groups - the Islamic Front The Islamic front was not "Al Qaeda in Iraq" the Islamic Front was a coalition of radical Jihadist groups in Syria. https://carnegie-mec.org/diwan/53679

Although your claim is much touted or inferred in the MSM - it is a propaganda narrative.

That the FSA was "moderate" entity was a balls deep lie. Both Al Qaeda and ISIS were affiliated with and fought for the FSA - and even wiki has the FSA listed as an ally of the Islamic Front.

This is from CNN back in late 2013 - prior to Obama's "Moderate Rebel Lie" so they could present the truth.

    https://www.cnn.com/2013/12/12/world/syria-islamic-front/index.html

Not sure what happened to the Islamic Front after 2013 - as you can see this was huge group of fighters - they would have either joined Al Nusra or ISIS which ended up to be the two main groups over time.

As you can see - it matters not what we call them "AQI - ISIS- Islamic Front" it is all the same garbage.

Of course we are talking about the religious dogma of both the religious right and their support of the gop and the Iraqi war which gave rise to ISIS , vs the dogma of the religious factions found in the Middle East. Now.

After the Iraq war, every major terrorist conflict in the Middle East, including Syria were preempted by severe droughts caused by global warming

Both power vacuums created by the Bush war in Iraq and the formation of Isis in Syria which was climate change inspired, are both factual presentations the right and evangelicals can’t deal with. Our military gets it as does the rest of the world.

it’s fact. Hordes of farmers are driven into the city to seek relief when all they find is the welcoming arm of Isis in the Middle East, while becoming immigrants to the United states in Central America.

Any realization of that by the evangelical right, has to ackniwlege both the effects of climate change and our inability to effectively deal with it because.......climate change is about the acceleration of climate events at a faster rate then a species.....us and the rest of the animal kingdom, can adapt. through evolution.

Science doubters which includes evangelicals and other Trump/gop factions are really alone in the entire world in making the connection.....so they fabricate and deceive.

Exactly why we shouldn't be investigating in people like that. Giving a student loan is exactly that, an investment. Very happy go give the same lady a loan for sn education that turns her into a tax paying asset.

You’re delusional in equating physical characteristics with sex preference. The entire animal kingdom has examples of this dichotomy. Just by statistics alone, it’s bound to exist in humans. For you to deny civil rights because of it, is to deny evolution itself.

That’s funny. Trump has admitted his guilt over and over in public. What rock has the right been hiding under ?

Well, for those of us who use them ( brains) , I’d agree.
Identity politics sometimes jumps over that reasoning and it just becomes agreeing with the party with no thought given whatsoever in the belief itself.

In my high tech career I've found that this is just plain false.

That is, there are numerous highly paid positions in high tech that do not require a degree in the central sciene of the business. Thinking logically, understanding humans (who are the customers), communication capability, management/marketing/business capability, and all sorts of other factors are absolutely necessary and are found in many places besides core STEM degree programs.

Beyond that, all kinds of diversity is seriously important. Users don't necessarily think like white male 20 year old computer geeks, for example. And, that's not the most likley place to find the combination of skills necessar to produce quality products that the market wants on a predictable timeline. Plus, a wide range of good ideas is crucial.

You’re not required to accept anything unless you operate a public entity....then you’re required to NOT to deny their civil rights.

I really don’t care how you feel about that. I’m only concerned that everyone be afforded their civil rights. Your beliefs are inconsequential till they conflict with someone else to the extent they violate their rights.

it's not about my beliefs that is reality.. the other reality is that every person already has all the same rights as everyone else... nothing needs to be done for them to be completely equal..

Personally, it’s one of the few times I take him at his word. He’s admitted to being a traitor......that’s enough.

If you operate a public entity and practice your beliefs, there’s a problem. Otherwise, you're inconsequential.

Moscow Mitch has confessed to cooperating with Trump in preparation for the impeachment trial. He’s a traitor to the constitution the instant he takes the oath of impartiality. No different for Trump. His actions are that of a traitor.

They were not ISIS at that time.
Here is one of your groups.

In September 2012, a large number of Islamist rebel brigades, including the Farouq Brigades and the Suquor al-Sham formed the Syrian Islamic Liberation Front, under the leadership of Suquor al-Sham commander Ahmed Abu Issa. Abu Issa claimed the new Front had more than 40,000 fighters and aimed to establish a state with an Islamic reference.[17] This alliance was superseded in November 2013 by a new alliance called the Islamic Front, again led by Abu Issa.[8]

By early 2014, Suqour al-Sham had reportedly been substantially weakened following the outbreak of open warfare between many Syrian rebel factions and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. On 21 January 2014, Suqour al-Sham's top religious official, Abu Abderrahman al-Sarmini, defected from the group, in protest of the internecine warfare. In February 2014, the group's top military commander, Mohammed al-Dik (alias Abu Hussein), was killed in an ISIL attack. In the same month, Suqour al-Sham's chief of staff and one of its most powerful founding factions, the Suyouf al-Haq Brigade, announced an unapproved separate peace with ISIL and defected from the group.

I told you many times they were not ISIS at the time - these were the folks we were arming prior to the Islamic State Existing - the group was closely affiliated to Al Nusra - described as "Salafi" by the DIA - Sectarian Hardcore radical Islamists - head choppers.

And these- along with all the other groups (same scat - different pile) - were the ones Obama Armed - and continued to arm, supply, support for roughly 5 years.

Rand Paul is not Joking in 2014 - when he says "We are allied with Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria" - on CNN's Sunday Morning Program - State of the Union.

He is not Joking when he says

CROWLEY: So should we go to Syria? I mean, the thing is, we kind of are where we are. So, the question is whether they're a threat.

PAUL: No. No. Well, we are where we are because - we are where we are because we armed the Syrian rebels.

The idea that Crowley does not know that we are already in Syria - is preposterous to begin with .. Paul whisks it off "No No" - aka WTF are you talking about :)

What transpired in Syria - the 400,000 dead, the war crimes, crimes against humanity - all of which we were well aware of - resulted from arming Radical Islamist Jihadists. Full Stop.

No, I'm sorry. That is not what you said. You said Obama funded al Qaeda.

I've only ever heard the 'educated vs non-educated' thing in relation to the fact that the majority of college educated people vote Democrat. Well OF COURSE they do! How could they NOT after being brainwashed by such insane liberal HELLHOLES!
