From what I heard on a radio report, Oxford is seeking approval from the British government to speed up the approval and distribution processes of the vaccine. If it proves safe and effective it should be expedited not only in the UK but here in the USA.

 

So they got a vaccine for COVID-19 coming but not for HIV or the common cold?

I hope so, because one user on here lead me to believe that we might never have a vaccine for this.

 

I sure as F won't be taking it. This thing will be extinct by middle 2021 IMO.

Actually, new info has suggested the Virus was on our shores as early as late January, and the first case in China was November of '19. What we presumed to be the outbreak, was not actually an outbreak at all.

I have one friend who's been fighting that "cold" for TWO MONTHS...and it's not over yet

I have another fighting for his LIFE. He's back in the hospital and they're saying his lungs can't take being on a ventilator again.

My buddies mother died. Yea she's in her 60s (or was). Otherwise healthy. Probably would have lived another 15-20 years...

@Talon There were already a thread in that forum, of Israeli scientists promising a vaccin in 3 weeks in february, they didn't succeeded.

Oxford is a great institution and they probably know what they speak of, but I remain highly suspicious about such claims.

 

Trump stoners have a commitment to diss The WHO in everything from climate change to the pandemic, even when they use science. Then hypocritically, they depend upon science to save their asteroid. Trump and his minions will be the first to whine if they can’t be at the head of the line for a bat flu inoculation.
