What better time to strip 20M of their healthcare than during a pandemic.

Then why insist taxpayers ALREADY squeezed must now shoulder that so-called burden? If the poor wants health coverage, get a damn job.

Did you not read the post to which you responded? Many jobs do not provide for employer based health insurance. If we, as a nation, want to cover the most people for the least money then a nationalized system is the answer.

So...........you believe in an a la carte taxpayer system where we only contribute taxes to those governmental serves we support?

Face the facts. Taxpayer supported healthcare systems in other countries work better than our's in delivering care to all the people and for less money.

As the last few decades have shown us, the national debt doesn't matter ($8.9 trillion under Obama in 8 years and $7.0 trillion under Trump in just 4 years). So why not just have a National Health care system that's paid for with borrowed dollars - that's
what we have done for the military hardware industry.

Anytime you can decrease government dependence is a good time.

I think we should have a Food Care System where all food is paid for. Actually food has a lot to do with health. Then we should also consider a Shelter Care System. Then the government eventually will be able to tell us when and where to crap!

Careful, you are one serious illness or accident away from needing that kind of aid.

I have a relative who always bragged about his independence - until the day he he had a blood clot move from his leg into
his heart. Now, 7 years later, at age 56, he's spent everything he had medical services (insurance only covers so much, and
lost wages isn't one of them) and he's never been able to work as he once was.

Ask any retired person what their number one concern is, and almost all of them will answer uncertainty over medical costs.

If you are making under $20.00 an hour, and your employer doesn't cover health care costs, I doubt that you can afford health insurance, or meeting the deductibles if you can afford catastrophic insurance. That pretty much sums up reality for about 40 million working Americans.

Now you’re just rambling incoherently. You seem very rattled and emotional over this. Poor fella.

It’s a straight forward question. Why would a politician want a voter to think they caved? On what planet is that anything but a sign of weakness?

Because you’re still putting the majority of blame on Dems, which is what they want you to do. They have you believing it’s the Dems who pressured them. It’s BS. The Repub governors have made their own choices. No one pressured them. But by all means continue to be a good s***p.

My retirement is pretty much handled thanks to the fact I was taught to prepare for it. When I was young and had my 3rd born with a medical condition of the heart, I received a ton of donations from the Church and small group I attended. It helped me weather the storm. Plus the fact I had purchased pre birth medical insurance. I have since been able to return favors to a degree.

I wonder if trump is purposely trying to lose?
He would probably be happier as a racist gadfly on social media and lording over his followers on twitter full time than having to bother with the work of running a government for the next 4 years.

Arguably, everything he has done indicates he is tired of the job and wants voters to reject him because he fails at everything.

Having a job does NOT mean you can get healthcare coverage in America.

Plus, we have a whole lot of peole who have health conditions that preclude work.

Every first world country is opposed to the idea that if you don't have a good enough job to support food, housing and healthcare, then the individual should be left to die.

And, that certainly comports with the major religion of this nation.

I wonder if he lost, what would you and the media do? Wait for the darkness of Socialism and government mandates to overshadow our nation? As it happens, the media would have nothing to do but try to paint how rosy everything is as we go down the tube. Antifa would be able to recruit MS13 and police will turn in their badges. If China Virus is still on the prowl they'll lock it down but as always, it will be waiting at the door when they stick their Biden Bolshevik heads out again.

All elephant tears. First, of the 20 million (or less) that got coverage through Obamacare only about 4 million actually wanted coverage. Second, all hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, or the government are picking up 100% of the costs for all COVID testing and treatment.
