As always, having a discussion with someone like yourself who denies objective reality is tremendously difficult.

 

Remember the days when unemployment was under 5%, the National Debt was under $20 trillion, housing prices were rising steadily ... you know, back in 2015 when Trump was just a joke reality TV star. Boy, I miss those days.

 

It's really very simple. Leftists want everybody else to pay their bills. Conservatives do not. THAT is objective reality, reading through all these "they gotta pay for it!" posts which pop up here.

Actually, Dems are proposing something akin to all insurance plans where premiums are pooled, spreading out costs, to make coverage affordable for everyone. It's poor, red state conservatives who benefit from this plan as much as anyone else.

Voters in deep-red Oklahoma this week could order Medicaid expansion for at least 200,000 poor adults, defying state and Trump administration officials fighting to limit the Obamacare program.

If voters approve a ballot measure on Tuesday, Oklahoma would become the first state to broadly expand government-backed health insurance to many of its poorest residents since the beginning of a pandemic that has stripped many people of coverage. At the same time, that could scuttle the Trump administration’s efforts to make Oklahoma a test case for its plan to transform the entitlement program into a block grant.

There was no "record" economy. Trump never got above 2.9% GDP growth - the same as Obama.
And given that the first quarter GDP of 2020 was a negative 4.5% and this last quarter will be a negative 10% - Trump's
4 year average will be BELOW Obama's.

Hell, Jimmy Carter had better GDP numbers than Trump.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma voters narrowly decided on Tuesday to expand Medicaid health insurance to tens of thousands low-income residents, becoming the first state to amend its Constitution to do so.

With 100% of precincts reporting unofficial results, State Question 802 passed by less than 1 percentage point. The question fared well in metropolitan areas, including Oklahoma City and Tulsa, but was overwhelmingly opposed in rural counties.
