But that is not the issue here, the issue here is are pardons by an impeached President valid. Some are straining to say it does although the Constitution does NOT say that but if it did then it would apply to all of Clintons pardons, they would not be invalid and we'd have to start rounding up those still alive. Personally I would love to see the one for Susan McDougal who he gave one for going to jail and refusing to testify against him. Or Mark Rich who he gave one for the money from his wife and rumored other "accommodations" but he's dead. Or his brother for his drug dealing and the ones Hillary's bother sold.

It's the other way around, policies guide EOs. Of course, over time one could argue whether the EOs furthered policy, or derailed it.

To do what? It seems to me there's quite a lot of folks living in a fantasy world and not the world of reality when it come to politics. Trump isn't about to found guilty if one has been paying attention to the real world of partisan politics or politics in general. 45 GOP senators in a vote in the senate voted that impeaching a private citizen or ex-president is unconstitutional.

What this shows is at least 45 GOP senators will probably vote not guilty in another 55-45 decision. The Democrats need 17 Republican senators to vote guilty. They may, I repeat may get 5. The five GOP senators who voted that the impeachment of an ex-president, private citizen was constitutional may or may not vote to convict. Unless something drastic happens, something completely unforeseen at this point, finding Trump not guilty a second time will take place in the U.S. senate next month.

As for reversing pardons, I suppose you can dream. Dream of reversing pardons and finding Trump guilty in the senate, then in about a month or sooner, you'll wake up with reality hitting you in the face. Reality is a bitch which I suppose is why so many of us love living in the dream world of fantasy land.

Just living in the real world of reality. So you actually believe Trump will be found guilty in the senate trial, that he will then be disqualified from running again and the courts will then reverse all his pardons. You really, truly believe all of that? That in your mind you are 100% positive it will happen?

Okay, so be it. but to me than a fantasy. l don't think none of that will happen because I'm a political realist. I can count votes in the senate. I've said all along this is in the wrong arena. Impeachment is a political process which is doomed to fail. It may make you and others feel good, until reality hits you in the face. Then you'll realize I was right.

I've said all along this doesn't belong in the political arena, it belong in the federal judicial system. Present all the evidence one has to a federal grand jury, let them decide whether to prosecute or not. There's very harsh penalties in the legal arena. None in the political arena outside of removing an already removed office holder. But continue to dream on and live in your fantasy land, that's up to you.

It's not that I like the real world, I'd much more prefer fantasy land. But it is what it is.

of course none of it will happen, I merely state they could happen, but when you got nutso wingers screaming for Liz Cheney's head and championing putting bullets into Patriot Nancy's head then don't pretend they have any legit point to make other than going in whole hog for the trumpig. that's their entire political arena and judicial system, NAZIISM.
