OK.... can you possibly explain the point of his sarcasm?? That humans have no chance of impacting climate change?

    Was THAT his point??

If that's the case, sarcasm should really come with a warning label for those not equipped to handle it..

sorry but no, no, no ... the uncomfortable pause before she responded to his nonsense? ... meh, but then again his delivery was so deadpan ... not an expression whatsoever on his face ... he must be a great actor because most politicians love to laugh at their own jokes ...

Yes, it probably was and it's right. The Earth is warming and we didn't do it and destroying the livlihood of half the population to feel good about ourselves isn't going to turn it around. We need a big meteor strike or super volcano to wipe out most human beings and start over to really fix it. It's happened before. We're a bunch of arrogant little pissants

Wake me when you can quote the post I made of this being about you.

Oh, so you thought only intelligent people vote Democrat, of which you happen to be. Nothing you can post would support that ideology.

And what did they get for it? Record high inflation, a border that hasn't been this overwhelmed in decades because Biden decided to not uphold our agreements with Mexico, killing thousands of jobs and reversing the programs that made America energy independent, gas prices up over 100%, Covid worker compensation programs that we just found out 4 billion went to foreign gangsters, critical race theory instruction, which the Biden Education Department wants to encourage.

A CNN poll shows 78 percent agreeing that the border is in crisis, while an NBC poll shows 59 percent disapproval to 35 percent approval of Biden’s performance on border security and immigration. Like Kamala Harris’ pathetic claim that lack of climate adaptation and climate resilience are causes of the surge of migrants at the border. And she still hasn't even visited the border even after being pushed by her own party to do so.

Yeah, you call this coming from intelligent voters? Most call it ignorance.

Still more plausible then to believe, an island can capsize ‘Cos of too many people gathering on one side of it.

We still have one thinking to much weight on one side of an island could cause it to "Flip over" so altering planets orbits gives you a tingle?

Gohmert is clearly the bottom of a crowded barrel in the House, but this dipstick is rapidly working his way down that scale in the Senate

    SNIP
His fellow Republican senator, Rand Paul, tells the New York Times today, “The idea of democracy and majority rule really is what goes against our history and what the country stands for.
    ENDSNIP

    https://nymag.com/intelligencer/art...emocracy-republic-majority-rule-jim-crow.html

What a ****ing idiotic thing to say.... Clearly cementing him as a Senator from Kentucky for years to come...

Where do they find people like this??

This is a natural reaction to the fact that the GOP is overwhelmed by the number of Liberal voters.

This view will become more pronounced as the Republicans lose their grip on the country's politics.

They have the choice of moving to the center or becoming even more reactionary.

Unfortunately, they have chosen to listen to the more extreme elements who still vote for them.

For them, the political price to pay will be very high.

Can't we all just agree that climate change is happening, is bad, and that the only way to stop it is by increasing the entropy of the entire solar system?

The GOP is in a vicious circle.

Moderates are jumping ship and they aren't tempted to return because there are fewer moderate Republican candidates entering politics.

The coup de grace will be when Texas becomes a tossup state.

    Probably within 6-8 years.
