This represents nothing but Trump's fragile Ego. He did not "unendorse" Mo Brooks, for being "woke," or politically correct. But go on, U.S. Conservative, playing into those short-sighted, small minded actions of your demagogue, which will ultimately trip him up.

The reason that Trump took back his endorsement, was because, with that endorsement, Brooks was back to running in 3rd place, for the Republican nomination, in his race-- and Trump can't bear to have his name associated with a loser. But that desperation which deprives Trump of possessing any loyalty, or any spine, also forces him to do such foolish things, as try to cut and run, from people who have dirt on him. Mo Brooks has now come out, on the record, to say that in September of 2021, Trump asked him to rescind the 2020 election.

So go on encouraging Trump, to grab more of that rope. This is good news, as it foreshadows a fortuitous-- for the country-- future hanging.

 

Brooks got a new campaign staff that advised him to not mention 2020.

His lead started immediately slipping at that point.

 

Lol now his woke rino butt is in 3rd place.

Whomever Trump endorses will win.

And yet with Trump's endorsement Brooks was falling way behind in the polls. What Trump is doing now is trying to figure out who will win and then endorse that candidate to make it look like he still has political juice.

Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama on Wednesday said Donald Trump had asked him to “rescind” the 2020 presidential election, “remove” President Joe Biden from his office, “immediately put” Trump back in the White House and hold a new special presidential election.

Brooks said in a statement that he had drawn Trump’s “ire” by telling the former president that his plan was not legal.

The congressman later told NBC News that Trump proposed the series of events to restore him to the presidency after Sept. 1, more than seven months after Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, 2021.

On the one hand part of me wants to be glib because of the absurdity of Trump's pursuit so long after he had been kicked to the curb. But it's wrong to dismiss Don's lunacy when millions of similarly deluded Americans believe he won the election and see nothing wrong with his attempts to steal back the presidency.

 

Trump said it, now his followers are chirping it.

LET IT BE KNOWN, FROM THIS DAY FORTH, YOU ARE "WOKE" IF YOU DENY DONALD TRUMP'S ELECTION FRAUD FANTASY.

This may come as a shock to those on the right who don't support that fantasy but would never in a million years have considered themselves to be "woke", or been considered by others including actual woke people to be so.

Too bad for those folks, that's the price you pay when you don't fall in line with what Trump expects of you.

 

He does have political juice Trump endorsed candidates do very well.

 

What fabrication? Trump himself in the statement unendorsing Brooks accuses him of going "woke". The author you are trying to criticize is just reflecting that.

 

I asked a question and someone finally answered. The conversation has moved on, several days back.

 

He never said the election in Alabama was rigged. Our voting went as smooth as silk without any claims of fraud or problems with the voting.

A couple of observations.
As noted Brooks had a huge lead and has done little if any campaigning or ad running I haven't seen one yet. Britt and Durant have been flooding the airwaves Britt more than Durant. Durant's first ad turned some, including me, off not because he used his "Blackhawk Down" experience he certainly has a right tonpoint that out but that he seemed be be claiming God choose him to run.

Britt was not gaining much traction on the "In support Trump and a true conservative" and suddenly dove into the "I'll bring Christian values" and her ads centering on that. One local writer suggesting, and I agree, her consultants probably told her that's where she needed to go.

Both Britt and Durant have met with Trump the last few days. Durant a war hero? Recall what Trump said about those who get captured.......well Durant was not a "P.O.W." but wonder if that would he pointed out if he picks Durant. Britt was Senator Shelby's chief of staff and I don't recall Shelby being a big Trump supporter.

Right now it looks like a runoff between Durant and Britt.

if someone doesn't support the Trump craziness, they can't any longer be part of the cult, no mater how loyal they were to the cult leader in the past

That's the excuse. The real reason is that Trump does not to be associated with a person who will come in 3rd at best and not even make the runoff for Alabama GOP nonimation. Trump does not like his version of losers.

BTW, Mo Brooks is no more woke than Trump is.
