HOW MANY GUN OWNERS think you should have to undergo a mental competency exam prior to being able to buy gun

1) given you don't know who is qualified to conduct this exam
2) how much it will cost
3) how long you are required to wait
4) your appeal rights

Pew poll on preventing the mentally ill from buying guns. That one measure has the most bi-partisan support, while other proposals like gun registry, or bans are far more divisive suggestions. Also, some things like allowing more people to carry concealed (already passed in many States) has pretty low support from either party.
