Wow. Pretty crazy. Threats against the president are not to be taken lightly and the SS saw the content he posted online as credible threats. It's sad that he died in a shootout, but this is a reminder that the country is becoming too polarized and the propaganda from the MSM isn't helping.

 

Waiting for Trump to post on social media regarding people to calm down and be civil, or anything like that.

I'm really concerned that we are going to be seeing a lot more of these lone wolves in the months to come. Wish I was wrong, but the polarization and the environment in America is at a kindling point.

 

Don't hold your breath. Trump is not a calming rational person in a time of critical events. He incites them , and fosters them with his own inflammatory commentary.

 

I really expect either he ignores it or blames the guy's death on the "weaponized FBI".

Sadly, that cannot happen. He is too psychologically damaged to learn from his errors or try and improve on himself. He is deluded and fixated... so noting can really penetrate that. He is potentially dangerous, to the country, the wonderful constitution, and the freedoms we treasure.

Well, the FBI investigators didn't give very many details. Now, obviously this man should have been stopped, at the very least checked on. Was there a shootout? The article actually doesn't say. They presume and you'd think it'd be the first thing investigators let us know about, but nothing, nada.

What I suspect is that words quickly escalated, an agent fired the first shot(or shots) and the perp is dead. Without a trial, or anything really.

It also wouldn't be out of line to make it a show of authority, as well as to bolster the government's case of 'incitement' and other such things. Yes, I'm accusing the government of looking for this particular case, to aid in its prosecution.

And hey, accusations can be flung at anybody. If we learned anything during the Trump-'russian collusion' saga we learned that.

Although the details of that day aren't available yet, it sounds like he was not very cooperative judging from the few details available, was not going to go peacefully. Sounds like he pointed the rifle at an officer and they shot him. Seeing his posts of social media, the officers were probably on high alert when they approached the home. Filling in the blanks, he probably refused to come out of the house, so officers threw a *flash bang* into the home and he exited with a rifle and pointed it at officers. So far, sounds like the officers were doing their job and completely justified.
Pro-tip: don't point a weapon at an officer with your finger anywhere near the trigger.
It does point out something, that those in a position of power and influence need to be mindful of what they say. Regardless of political affiliation. Yes, that applies to Dems also.
There are nutballs out there, and some are barely hanging on and angry, and armed sometimes. And it only takes one to be a huge problem.
Trump doesn't care, and his rhetoric very likely contributed to him losing a vote in Utah......
and it's not like it's unexpected. Remember the van living bomb sender from Florida? Add to that that many Trump supporters, and Trump, tend to be conspiracy theorists, and it's not surprising that these events occur.

Both parties use "warlike" rhetorical devices for an entirely metaphorical purpose. None of those limp dicks actually want anyone to do anything, and none of those limp dicks are actually encouraging actual violence.

No one claimed that. Try employing some critical thinking. You won't, but I have to ask.

 

She didn't commit a crime. Do you need an elementary school level explanation of this basic concept?

 

She threatened the president.

This guy was executed for supposedly threatening the president.

 

No. She didn't. She did something stupid, and it deserved the visit from Secret Service that she likely got, but it wasn't an explicit threat. This guy made explicit threats against both Biden and the FBI.

 

No one is dumb enough to think that. No one.
