Are you still trying to make the distinction without merit between promise and predict and forecast?

    Try again.

Are you conceding it was their prediction, their forecast and that your only argument is the word "promise"?

you think the average voter is really going to give a darn, or are they just going to say gee Barrack Obama had 4 years and spent 800 billion and the economy is still in the toilet?

Anyone who proves the propaganda is false is making a "specious argument" to you.

    Good idea.

Or maybe we could put numbers on the wall and throw darts at them - blindfolded.

    Why would you think that?

    Why would you think that?

    Why would you think that?

Where did I say anything was not Obama's fault?

The chart doesn't say anything about a promise.

I think many of the average voters gullibly swallows up propaganda.

    Just look at this thread.

Just people making specious arguments and dodging questions posed to them.

Are you still trying to make the distinction without merit between promise and predict and forecast?

    Try again.

You don't have to call it a promise if that word bothers you.

But it was the claim of the Obama administration during the selling of the stimulus package.

So it was part of their effort to influence public opinion.

    Another distinction without merit.

What did they predict the highest unemployment would hit after their economic stimulus was passed? What was the forecast?

The only charade that is obvious is that Obamabots are working overtime, hinging an entire debate on phrasing.
It seems that, in his utter incompetence, BO was capable enough to surround himself with people who's entire mission is to create distractions for his incompetence.
So, while we are playing word games, people ARE jobless, less and less jobs are created, without prospects for more jobs in the near future.
But yes, lets analyse when BO lied when and how much. How very important to the subject at hand.
Its jobs, not just words and speeches. Its about the actual creation of jobs, its not about distracting from the lack thereof.

Its not about when he lied about creating jobs, its about when he plans on creating them.

So, distract and derail, we still want jobs.

I've answered it twice. Third time:

You're still trying to make the claim there is no distinction between a broken promise and an erroneous projection?

Of course there is a distinction between a broken promise and an erroneous projection.

Do you seriously disagree? Are you going to continue to dodge?

I think it would be hilarious if someone from the press asked, "Would the president be willing to sign a pledge to the affect that if unemployment is still at 9% or higher one month before the election he will pull out and concede to the Republican candidate?

Sure. Because there's no difference between a broken promise and an erroneous forecast, right?

So why do you think the conservative propaganda media falsely characterized it as a "promise" instead of a "projection" about a million times?

Too bad we didn't have our Tea Party Republican friends sign a pledge that they'd withdraw from office if their debt ceiling deficit fiasco caused any negative consequences, like the told us it would not.

No you dodged it, you were asked first, try again for the fourth time.

Are you still trying to make the distinction without merit between promise and predict and forecast?

    Try again.

Are you conceding it was their prediction, their forecast and that your only argument is the word "promise"?

In this case no, what is the difference? The promised outcome is their forecast.
It you pass this then this will happen.

I've never called it a promise.

The no one in the Obama adminsitration ever said the word "8 percent" selling the stimulus package that I've ever found. What they sold it on was that it would save or create 3 million jobs. Which is about in line with what several independent analyzes of the effect of the stimulus have found.
