Exactly Inferno, I do not scare the dead because I know that there is afterlife. I know that you looking for your way and I sure you'll find it. We all are children of God who know what we need and what we'll do. After I saw God ( or his Angel ) I scare nothing: no goverment, no satans servants etc. can me prohibitet my way. I pray more as 500 time every day. By the way I like America because you have Christians fundamentalists. In Europa is everything already died. Inferno, I have a good job and earn good money. But my believe, God, the Holy Bible, my Family are more important for me. I think that I saw God or his Angel. I don't sure about. But you do not believe in God. It's a difference between us. You follow the mankinds commandments, I follow the Gods rules and the Bible teaching.
My belive is suerly important for me, but I not be so terrible like Islamists. The Christian Fundamentalist try to follow the Bible as Law N 1 in our life. For example we don't go to army, avoid adultary, the familiy live is for us as first.No drugs, alkohol, sex outside the marrige, crime, liars, thefts etc. What's here wrong?
In the modern era there has never been a fully functional Socialist state. The ones that have existed were bastardized and came about through means of revolution. I look at the Social state rising up and evolving out of the remains of a capital state as it falls. People become more class aware and see the injustice set up by a capital free market society and find there are better ways. The failures of such countries that called themselves socialist has caused resistance to the process as Socialism has for many become a dirty word. Utopian Socialism is seen as the ideal. I and most other really don't believe that it is totally possible on a large scale. A lesser Socialist state is. If It evolves through the desires of the workers then it will not toss up dictators and corrupt leadership. That has been the problem. Some may disagree because they think revolution is the answer. I am not a believer in that course at all. There are to many pitfalls. Once in power over a military that has taken control the person or persons may not want to let go. It is possible anywhere. I live in a Socialist Commune of a loose nature. We do not have a certain area and we are scattered. I have been part of this commune for a while now. We share all things for the common good. It is small scale and more like the Utopian Principle. The idea is for education of the people and awareness of those around them. First you have to get over the resistance to the name. It is a matter of changing the entire way that one lives and thinks. It is not that hard to overcome that as long as the people are open. Things that you are used to here in the US would have to go away and people would have to work together. The catch word today is that Obama is a Socialist. He is not. He is a capitalist trying to make social programs work. FDR did similar things. There is a huge difference between what many see as a handout system in socialism and what it really is. It is the worker society where each one benefits by the united work force. The best goal is that each pulls his or her weight and the economy and pay grows in this way. It eliminates the elite class that has everything and the the actual worker has little of limited financial privilege. There are no handouts. Yes there is a universal heath care that come out of the company profits. There is universal education including college. That come out of the company profits. etc. The worker is paid and what he earns he or she keeps. There is less outgo. Mortgage utilities and so on disappear. Your income may be less in earnings but in what is available to spend goes up. This is a lot to bite off when the rich still want to get richer at the expense of the poor or worker. Money is saved because the workers are the owners of the company. There is no such thing as a stockholder to siphon off the profits that the worker earned. That's a limited quicky answer.
You say, " I see them as a hub and central force in the future of the world " It is hard to say.... because we Turks have already becomen extinct :( The Kurd make too many children(for politic reason their aim is to get main ethnic population), an average Kurdish family have about 10 children especially in eastern Turkey, and the Turkish families are very small - average 1-2 children or none. In East the Kurds make economic troubles, they can't educate all of their children, so they stick our goverment like a leech, they need money. Now 57 million Turks live here, and 14 million Kurds live in East If they continue with this speed about making children their population will be dominant in 100 years, and 200 years after we will be totally disappeared from the history. Therefore, over 2200 years Turkish history will be ended. The World will remember Ottoman Empire and Turkey as ancient civilization :D On the other hand, the Armenians make so-called genocide propaganda to get Eastern Turkey lands, Kurds also claim eastern Turkey as Kurdistan land, moreover Greeks wants to take Istanbul and our Eagean coast... We are losing our power day by day...and European Union intervenes in the internal affairs of Turkey. I don't have sympathy for the gay cause, personaly I don't think that's what gays want. In my opinion gays want the same think the African American wanted, the same thing the suffergetts wanted to be equal, to have the same chance, the same respect the same everyday problems hetrosexuals do on every level without being labeled or branded like livestock. If this offends you or your cause I oplogize I would not want to lose you as a friend, but in my defence I was one hell of an activist at one time.
