Ya, I've met Roy before. He decided long ago I'm evil incarnate. Not possible to have an adult conversation with him, so I just push a few buttons to entertain myself. :)

First thing some immigrants want to do is change this country to what they left. They don't want to learn the language nor the customs. Makes one wonder why they ever came. Nothing gives me more pleasure than hearing an immigrant wanting to learn to speak English. I had a friend once who kept a translation dictionary to learn more English. We also knew a Cuban Dr. who learned to speak English by watching TV. He couldn't speak English before he came to America. He learned by watching TV..imagine that. Eventually he learned enough English that he got a job as a physician with the state and passed his exams.

I would be there in a heartbeat if I could.
Was it the Galleria Mall? Haven't spent much time in Dallas ate at couple of Restaurants there and passed through but that is all. Dallas is too busy and too big.. Got on some road that was mind boggling...overpasses galore it was definitely an OMG time..lol.

Have you ever been to Texas? It has everything, the desert, the mountains, the forests, the seashore, the canyons, lakes, rivers,farms, ranches, wildflowers galore, the hills and friendly people.. did I leave anything out?

Haven't been to all of those places but most of them...Not many places in Texas I haven't been.
