The design of the 2 of the WT towers was unique.. and not designed to be hit by large aircraft. It swayed 3 feet normally. The only thing that surprised me was that the towers didn't fall sooner.

 

Actually they were designed to be hit by a 707 type aircraft...bearing in mind they were thinking slow moving.lost in fog aircraft.
But know one knew for sure

 

In 1945 that was a ten-ton, B-25 bomber (slow moving) that smashed into the north side of the Empire State Building.. 79th floor.. And there was quite a fire. But, that building was brick and mortar.

The WTC was hard to rent up and it was a white elephant... The guy who claimed its was built to sustain a hit from a 707 was selling confidence.

Arguing about what something is "built to withstand" is pointless. Nothing is invincible.

As for the towers, they did survive the impacts of airliners, long enough so that tens of thousands of people were able to escape. It was the fires which put the nail in the coffin; 8 floors instantly ignited.

Why we're on this topic, can I ask conspiracy theorists, why did they wait so long before hitting the demolish button? If mass casualties and chaos was the aim, then why not demolish the South Tower the instant it got hit, and then the North Tower the moment the South Tower collapsed? In fact hell, why not hit both towers at the exact same time and collapse them simultaneously? That's 40,000 dead right there, easy. Not many witnesses, no one to film the demolitions, pods of the planes, or anything. If the cover up is capable of what you say it is, then they powers at be could just say the impacts did it and get all the engineers to agree with them.

Looks like plenty of fires to me. You can clearly see them spread through the floors.

Heat moves upwards, and the posted video shows the tower from floor 93 upwards. The laws of physics preclude those 17 floors of mass from symmetrically crushing the bottom 93 floors to the ground because there is no time or distance for them to build sufficient momentum given that they begin the equation in mechanical equilibrium (at rest). You talk about not thinking very hard about stuff, yet you are defending a physical impossibility.

Additionally, as I have just pointed out, the thermite visibly goes off 42 seconds into the video.

It is physically impossible. Newton's laws of motion have to be violated for the floors to have been able to gain momentum. The floors below would push back and slow the process down not let it accelerate.

 

No LoneStr. This is the mathematical equivalent of saying 1 x 93 > 93 x 1. The effect of resistance is accumulative, not singular. Two floors provides twice the resistance of one floor, and so on. In your attack on the laws of physics, you propose that there was only one floor between the damaged mass and the ground, and then when that floor was crushed, another floor between the mass and the ground. This is false to the point that it is absurd.

 

In my professional opinions as a fire fighter, construction worker and arson investigator, you are looking at breaking window panes. FAIL.
