Unfortunately, the CIA has a long and fairly successful record of overthrowing legitimate governments all over the globe spanning decades.

Both claims are correct. Covid broke the camels back and turned the wrath of the people against the government which is failing to provide for them. If you want to me a commie government then you assume the responsibility to provide for everyone. That is the commie promise, and their failed. Things were bad before, and they got a whole lot worse when covid shut down tourism and other and pretty much everything else. Now they have had about and call for freedom from the failed government. Of course this is something they have wanted for a long time but now the timing is good with the Castros out. This will test the new leadership.

When they say the rich paying higher taxes in this country, they mean those who make a higher wage than the average - but most are not really rich. The rich are those who have used the loop holes in our tax regulations and paid no taxes. As an example, someone in my family had 3 kids in top private schools, and 2 homes in the most prestigious areas in the country, and yet paid no taxes - and that was 40 years ago. Today he's worth quite a fortune.

The best would be to throw out all the tax books and their loop holes, and have a simple flat tax together with a luxury tax that will increase in percentage in relation to the price of the item. But would the tax lawyers and accountants in this country ever allow such a thing? They would fight it tooth and nail.

 

Of course it doesn't make sense. The chant was libertad, libertad, libertad. You can certainly believe that is Spanish for liberty or freedom.

I wonder if they're being paid to protest? I know they were paid in Kiev before the coup, as were the kids that were protesting in Russia for Navalny. I know that Moscow warns the countries on its southern flank if it sees diplomatic cargo planes arriving needlessly from the US.

Then again, maybe the planes are not packed with dollar bills. It could be Cokes or hamburgers.

Whether it works or not, we're heading there. What do you think the Great Reset is. Oh that's right, the new saying is 'Building Back Better'. Regardless, we're heading towards a one world government owned and controlled by the corporate 'elite'.

Yes, they have managed to do that, but I can't think of an example of them doing that where the results did not ultimately harm the interests of the USA.

So, IMO, the Cuban tyrants, like those who rule Venezuela have little to worry about.

 

The EC and Congress selected Biden. IMO, that makes him the legitimate POTUS absent a clear bipartisan consensus that the election was both rigged and the result unacceptable to Congress. Very unlikely.
