What I object to is that you avoid discussing and harms caused by those sanctions. You have convinced yourself that sanctions harm nobody, and that is how they want you to think. It is not an honest assessment of what effects sanctions have on the average Cuban or Venezuelan.

You are simply repeating what you've already said, and since my response was irrelevant to you, I don't think I have anything further to add since I'm not simply going to repeat the same things over and over like you are doing.

There’s the Cuba Democracy Act of 1992, which bars ships that have docked in Cuba from docking in the US for 180 days.
There is the Helms-Burton Act which actually applies sanctions on foreign companies that trade with Cuba.
So to say that the US embargo just prevents Americans from doing business in Cuba isn’t accurate.

Not sure who you replied to with that, but my position is that US sanctions harm the people of the country that is targeted. That includes medicines and all sorts of other things against Iraq, Cuba, Venezuela and all the other many countries saddled with US sanctions. That is, I made no claim about Americans doing business in Cuba.

It was directed at you anyone who thinks that there’s just a embargo of American businesses, and Cuba.
These two different laws show that is not the case. I thought that was pretty much obvious.
