You are right, there was a sarin gas attack in the Tokyo subway... 27 years ago.

In the mind of a pro 2A like you, this is equivalent to the dozens of mass killings that occur in the US every year.

    But only in your head.

By the way, if sarin is so effective, why isn't it used more often by the crazies in this country?

Since when can the US be compared to Mexico?

Are the American police so corrupt? Do the cartels have the politicians in their pockets?

The truth is that pro-gun people like you are too afraid to look at what other G20 nations are doing to counter the proliferation of guns.

The prerequisite for committing a mass shooting is to be a gun nut.

I don't give a damn about the reasons that drove this trans to kill 19 children.

If this lunatic had been born in Canada, France, the UK or any other democracy other than the US, he would not have been able to obtain such powerful assault weapons so easily.

As I have said so many times, the pro 2A's are now comparing the US to Mexico and El Salvador to show that gun laws don't work...

    Soon it will be Somalia.

Are you too afraid to look at Canada, UK, Norway and so on ?

There can be multiple causes, such as the proliferation of nutjobs and just how easy it is for such nutjobs to get guns. Why do republicans resist all efforts to make it harder for nutjobs to get guns?

Actually, The 2nd Amendment says arms SHALL NOT be infringed. I should be able to set up claymor mines on the perimeter of my property.

Well I've had access to guns for decades and haven't gone on a rampage. How is that possible?

Nope , I am suggesting that the thought of dealing with the current gun violence situation by addressing 'mental instability' or 'culture' in a country like the USA is more ridiculous than banning guns.

No way in hell that we as a country would ever put morality laws in place and enforce them, so I hope you are okay with the violence and death escalating in frequency over time.

As far as your source, it showed that between ALL guns, it is the preferred weapon of choice. I did not differentiate between type of gun. They are all faster, safer (for the killer), and more efficient for killing.

I mean, be real, if you had one minute to kill before you are taken down, how could you say you could kill more people with a knife than a loaded gun?!

Just be straight with your opinions and views already. I am not going to report you or anything of that nature. I am an adult.

How about if we point to Chicago where more than 1100 were shot this year with over two hundred killed. Focus bro. It’s not the gun, it’s the person.

There aren't any efforts to make it harder for nut jobs to get guns. The efforts are strictly about making it harder for law abiding citizens to get guns and completely ignoring the nut jobs.

In a good many countries in the world you couldn't even get a handgun in the first place.

The President is now wondering when "we" will stand up to the gun lobby but it isn't the gun lobby that is enabling madmen to massacre our children; it's the gun lobby's bought and paid for servants and toadys who do their bidding without question. We can write letters to the NRA all day and the NRA will give us thoughts and prayers, and say how glad they are the shooter is dead and say how if we had an armed guard in every classroom this wouldn't happen or maybe just try to argue that it never really happened at all. They can't really be blamed; it's what they're paid for

You see, it not the NRA that ENABLES this kind of thing to happen. It's not the NRA that refuses to tighten up our lax gun laws and blocks every effort that's made to make our gun laws conform to common sense. No, that's not the NRA, nor American parents or even, if polls are to be believed, the American PEOPLE. No, it's the REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP.

THEY'RE the ones who refuse to act. THEY'RE the ones who we SHOULD stand up to.

We have a chance to do just that coming up in November, will we?

One hundred and ten thousand people shot a year and you have no problem?
Sixty or seventy school shootings a year is no problem?
The problem is acceptance of the unacceptable. Resignation if you like that the problem will never go away
but will surely get worse, year by year.

You just compared the US to several places. Thanks for running away from the mexico thing, since you have no explanation for all those lives tossed away on a daily basis JUST past our border.

I compare the US to other advanced countries.

If you consider the US to be such a rotten nation that it can be compared to Mexico, that's your business.

I'm sorry, we don’t legislate morality in the US.
That said you asked for the methods and tools used to murder in the US so I gave it to you. I’ve no idea where you got the energy for all those strawman worries, but rest assured there are still no laws you could possibly effect tomorrow to stop things like this.
Don’t forget that prohibition has been a fantastic failure or is that the train that you’re boarding?

Ah, keep those goalposts on a rail since they’re zooming all over. I mean, if it works in Mexico it surely is a smart idea, right?

Because those efforts aren't really focused on dangerous nutjobs. For every mass shooter they'd purport to stop, they'd strip rights from thousands or millions of ordinary citizens.

So, one party only for the government.
Will someone remind him why that’s a bad idea, historically speaking?

My wife works at the school my kids go to. She claims the majority of teachers carry guns. I think that is one of the best ways to prevent this.

So why not just imprison the entire population

How many rights are you going to give up. When you are no longer able to defend yourself and crazies still mow down people with guns what then?
