Maybe you've never been involved in protesting anything before. Let me assure you that those protesting have not signed a bill they want to pass through the legislature - LOL. They have various views that have not been condensed into some unifying poilcy.

 

The point is that there is no justification for watching Fox on this subject.

They proved their intent to GROSSLY misrepresent events surrounding CHOP.

All they ever do is counter-productive lunacy like stand in the road blocking traffic while screeching nonsense about cutting police department budgets in half, or even in whole.

I'm a rational human being, so I involve myself in protesting in rational and constructive ways. I protest with my wallet, and my ballot, like a mature adult. I don't stand out in the street screaming like a bratty child.

 

Which events did they misrepresent? Stop evading, and be specific.

Which clearly labels a pic of some bygone Chicago event as what is going on in Seattle.

And, that IS a blatant lie.

Also, the article titles are TOTALLY PREPOSTEROUS.

It's easy to find more, as journalists are not happy with Fox's policy of lying.

 

MLK Jr. and Ghandi were staunch proponents of non-violent protest, and passive resistance, and they'd both be utterly disgusted by the violence, death and destruction that's been happening in CHAZ.

From what I've read, shootings, murders, arson, assault and destruction of property aren't regular features of the Seattle Block Party, so I'll conclude that since all of that has occured in CHAZ recently, that this is a unique event, and not the usual "summer of love" block party.

Therefore, Fox's depiction was more accurate than the mayor's

 

And yet even being a lie, it's still a more accurate depiction of what's been happening in CHAZ than a comparison to block parties.

 

The protesteros at CHOP in Seattle are disgusted by the violence and destruction, too. You even posted a vid of the IMMEDIATE response to some rioter starting a fire.

Fox LIED repeatedly - producing lurid pictures and descriptions that absolutely did NOT happen.

And, you have failed to find ANY cite from any actual local officials.

You need to mvoe beyond Fox. I really think that may be your problem.

How about an hour show on why we have 120K dead from the virus and British Columbia (5m people) has 168? Our equivalent dead at their rate would be about 14,000.

A lot of our 120,000 dead had a last stop in the ICU at $6-$10K per day.

Why do we have 120,000 dead instead of 14,000? What if one of those extra 100,000 people was your spouse, brother or sister, mother or father, son or daughter, etc? Wouldn't you want your fellow citizens to hold those responsible to account? Instead, people are worked up about one guy.
