    Ain't America great?

What we are witnessing here is someone who is ideologically possessed.

There's no dialog. There's only taking points. Doesn't appear to be a lot of thinking going on in support of those talking points.

But hey, at least he thinks he had the solution to this whole death problem. That's good enough, right?

Where's the argument? You post a gun death stat. I show that your stat indicates America has a suicide problem. Does gun regulation solve suicide? Are you making that argument? No.

You say it's easy to get a gun. My last purchase took almost 7 months. You are clearly not familiar with existing gun regulation of you think a law abiding citizen can walk into a gun show and walk out with a gun purchase that would have been stopped by some new regulation.

AS of TODAY 33 states allow the sale of firearms between private individuals with no regard to any state or Federal gun laws at gun shows.

This is false. There are many regulations involved in private sales.

In other words, private individuals can buy and sell firearms from another private individual. Any law against this is unenforceable.

The sale of a firearm requires a transfer of ownership, just like a car. If the sale takes place across state lines the transfer has to be conducted through a federally licensed dealer (ffl). If you even have a whiff of a suspicion that the person is prohibited, you don't make the sale, because you go to jail when you submit your half of the paperwork.

There are no such laws to prevent it. You have the cash you have your gun, no matter what kind of raving drooling moron you may be.

I'd like to see you go to New York City and try and prove that.

    Enjoy your Riker's Island vacation.

Again false. It's a straw purchase and you go to jail for 10 years.

A law against a sale between private individuals is unenforceable. If you believe otherwise, explain exactly how that would work.

A drooling idiot can also buy a car which is much more likely to result in death.

Nothing in there prevents me as a private individual from buying or selling a firearm to another private individual unless I knowingly sell a firearm to someone who is forbidden to own a firearm. However, I am not required to confirm that with a background check.

There are restrictions on how firearms can be shipped.

It doesn't prevent you. It regulates you. You can't sell your firearm to a prohibited person. You can't sell it to someone across state lines without an FFL. Etc..
