    so you saying we should put up statues of them in town square for all time to remember them?

    we can remember them in history, but we do not need to put statues of them on a pedestal in town square for all time to remember them

    And I just happen to disagree with them. Opinions vary on different topics. That is how the cookie crumbles.

    Just like how most Americans dislike Trumps performance, I agree with them on that.

    1. Tell that to the OP, he's the one using this poll. Why don't you whine to him? I'm talking about the specific poll the OP linked. He uses 1 set of information as gospel, but ignores the rest that is on the VERY same page. Your post was a very odd deflection.

    2. And they were correct. National Polls had Hillary winning the popular vote by 3%. She won by 2%. There was a 1% margin of error on average. These polls gauge national opinion, which is the popular vote. Similiar to the poll the OP linked. National polls in general are very accurate. There is zero data to suggest this poll is incorrect in either of its values.

    It just means that the corrupt entrenched bipartisan political class that evolved after the Wilson administration is now out of the closet, and fully exposed in public at a time when a virtual super majority of Americans view the political class as a frightening monster.

    Why haven't congressional leaders begun drafting legislation regarding the preservation, and display of confederate monuments? If confederate monuments are the issue, let's find a solution. But let's be honest. It's not about monuments. Censorship is the issue. Free speech is the issue. The 1st amendment is abundantly clear, and attacks on free speech will guarantee violent clashes. The left needs to realize that the 1st amendment is far more important than they are. Artificial flash points (monuments) can be taken out of the equation, but the real issue remains. It's not coincidenc that the 1st amendment is the first, and the 2nd is second ...

    Or they should be left alone and if they bother you don't look at them. Its kind of like the ten commandments outside of courthouses. Except they were way more clever about removing those monuments.
