She knew they were behind her, and yet she still kept driving ? Thats on her

The officers were behind her for 10 miles, at that point they had reasonable suspicion based on that behavior, when they stopped her they had every right to protect themselves by forcibly removing her from the car. They had no idea what she was doing, and why she was running from them.

10 miles is plenty and then she pulled back when they tried to remove her. The do not have to take a chance she may have a gun. Again I'm 67 years if blue lights come on behind me do I get to ignore them and not follow lawful commands of the police?

Only if you're black apparently. Must be that black privilege I keep hearing about.

I think the question is not if they had the right to do those things, but if they did those things in the right manner.

Hey, why not? She's clearly guilty as hell so what does she have to lose?

I dont disagree, but at some point they have to believe after 10 minutes of running from them that the suspect has something to hide, or has some form of malicious intent. I think the one cop, after they had her in handcuffs actually had a little bit of a conciliatory tone in his voice, which tell me that before that it was just the training that took over. Hope that makes sense ?

It is possible both her and the cops are in the wrong.

As a rule, cops react, not act. Was she not playing blind, deaf and dumb, cops would not have chased and arrested her.

    Carriage before the horse.

Based on her own words of what she did they seem to have had the right to arrest her. That is not really in question.

The question is did they use excessive force in the process of doing so?

Watching the video, she clearly resisted arrest and strongly so. WTF is expected of cops arresting people, be kind and gentle?

    Only when perpetrator is black.

You do not mean to say, cops should stop following their training and procedures?

Or we need the whole story. Did she resist? If so, how violently. We really need to stop piling on to these incomplete stories. The court will sort it out.

You're going to miss them when you have finished putting them out of business. Better get a gun.

I've had a gun since I was nine and know how to use it. I don't need the cops ever and that is because I don't need to be screwed over.

Fine. Put them out of business. You will get some target practice.

cops need to be trained to deescalate when they can, obviously some situations they can't, but for something like a traffic stop for a few miles over the speed limit

same was true of the elderly white women that was abused

if a cop is doing something criminal, the good cops should protect us from the criminal cop - that should be their job, protecting us from criminals when they can

why do some police insist on being violent with non-violent people?

oh, right, cuz they were black.

    :(
