El Roy explains to truthers how physics changed on that fateful day.

I think he just might have a point, what do you all think?

I think he's dummer than a platter of ham and cheese sandwiches at a Bar Mitzvah.

The moron thinks that there is a parallel where there is none.

In an inelastic collison between a small vehicle and a large one, nearly all of the energy brought by the smaller is expended crumpling metal. With no new input of energy, the small vehicle cannot do any more damage to the larger. All he has "proven" is that verinage does not work. His idea is, then, demonstrably false.

Is that simple enough for you to grasp?

That is one of the most retarded videos I have ever seen. Second only to Dick Gage stacking up pizza boxes and dropping them lol. How absolutely, fundamentally, wrong.

We laughed that moron off of JREF because of his attitude problem. Sarcasm is tolerable in certain amounts, but when you bring nothing else to the table, people get kind of sick of it in a hurry.

    1) the plane didnt fall on top of it, it flew in from the side
    2) the plane didn't have the speed of a little car that was pulling up, it was going like 700 km/h
    3) the plane carried an enourmous amount of fuel that burned like crazy

Now you go plow a little car from the side of the bus at 700 km/h, than heat it up by pumping in 1000's of liters of jetfuel and ignite it,.... see what happens now.

the alleged plane didnt knock it down

you can tell because it was still standing

    oh?

How much heat transfered in 10 seconds again?

Concrete around steel works like insulation against a fire. When a plane thunders in at 700 km/h than concrete will give way here and there exposing the steel. When a wild fire occurs by 1000's of litters of jet fuel, the temperature goes up rather quick. The exopsed steel gets hot, and since the fire never was put out the concrete that eventhough acts like an insulation gets hot too, making the steel hot inside.

Hot steel bends. You don't need much heat for that. The average Joe the blacksmith in his little furnance in his backyard uses that to mold steel in any shape it desires with just the force of his little hammer. Now the force that made the steel bend in the WTC were the 30 stories above the fire being dragged down by gravity. When the steel bended, and those 30 stories came down,... the weight of it all with the just a slight speed was enough to bring down the entire building.

weight + speed... is just like a car going 100 km/hour being able to stop in just a couple of meters. But a freighttrain needs 100's and 100's of meters. That is fundamental physics / Newton's laws of motion. Same mechanics applied to 30 stories moving slightly... the story underneath the fire, not affected by the heat was unable to stop it, and collapsed... so now we got 30 stories + 1 going down and the story underneath that one could not stop it and collapsed... so now we got 30 stories + 2 going down. etc etc etc... all the way to the bottem.

And thats why the building did not collapse at impact, because it took some time for the steel to be get hot enough to start bending.

The 9/11 problem is so obviously stupid that it is impossible to heap sufficient sarcasm onto it.

There is the little matter of specific heat. Even if there was no insulation on the steel the quantity of steel would affect the TIME it would take for it to heat sufficiently to weaken.

A couple of the biggest issues of 9/11 is that the north tower came down 102 minutes after impact and the south tower 56 minutes after impact. And then in 11 years no official source has provided the quantity of steel on each and every level of the towers. In 10,000 pages the NIST can't even specify the total for the concrete though they did it for the steel in three places.

And then our SCIENTISTS do not even discuss the importance of the issue. In fact when has Steven Jones brought it up? When has Richard Gage brought it up? It is like we don't want everyone to UNDERSTAND a problem this simple, we just want to maintain an ongoing circus of pseudo-intellectual debates to get people bored with the problem.

The nation that put men on the Moon cannot tell the entire world the distributions of steel and concrete down skyscrapers designed before 1969 and yet everyone is supposed to believe airliners could destroy buildings 2000 times their own mass in less than two hours.

Yeah, rush off and kill people for the physically impossible.

But we are supposed to give a damn about Higgs Bosons and robots on Mars.

I'm talking about his questions. They have been answered. Quite intelligently. The nuh uh defense doesn't quite work here. Mainly 'cause people can read his arguments and the responses them for themselves.

Of course, you do actually have to read it.

Not like Psikey who did nothing but search the NIST report for some key words he thought should be included and decide that the hundreds of professionals who contributed to it had no idea what they were talking about.

Search for the Sci forum thread for "center of mass" It's quite hilarious how much knowledge got dropped on his head.

Here's a key excerpt that well, left him speechless.

Kinda reminds me of someone else around here that doesn't know a thing about what he's talking about.

thats all I seen too, just personal attacks on him, nothing of substance.

Yeh personal attacks are right up there alright! Top shelf science.

The steel, with insulation in place, was rated for three hours. This, of course, was with all columns as designed sharing the burden. Some of the columns were destroyed and most were stripped of their insulation on the impacted floors. You have nothing here.

....and the whole think went "kaboom" in under and hour. Tough stuff those commercial aluminum tubes huh? I still don't understand why we aren't using them in place of smart weapons. They seem to be much more efficient.

You do not have a single shred of EVIDENCE for stripped insulation. It is merely empty speculation. The quantity of steel would still need to be known to compute the energy required to heat it. So why doesn't everyone want to know it?

Is there some kind of SCIENCE problem here?
