Trumps "Response" (so far) seems to be woefully inadequate.

That said, I am sure that everyone would agree that we all hope that the Virus is contained as quickly as possible and that it has a minimal effect on Public Health in the USA.

If they would have just let the state of California handle it they could have supplied this person with a shopping cart and make shift tent and found her a nice spot in the homeless community of San Francisco or LA. Then again we may just see how the Dems are going to handle the predicted upcoming pandemic of the plaque, caused by the rats, that are living in the now existing homeless camps. You know T I would be willing to bet that more people died in your neighborhood last night than died from the corona virus in the USA yesterday. Are you mad because the lady was isolated or mad because the health care team was so dumb not to take precautions to protect themselves? But a short list would include: Do not directly contradict your health experts, dont blame the political opponent for the stock market crashing, appoint someone with a good track record of handling health crisis, increase funding to the relevant fields.

Just discovered at the beginning of Dec, 2019. So this flu or virus is only 90 days old and yet you Debbie Downers are all blaming Trump because some lady wasn't smart enough to take the necessary steps to protect herself. We are all responsible for our own actions. When someone asks me to do something illegal or inappropriate like signing a report that I have nothing to do with, so that it can pass some inspection or deadline, I refuse and tell them if they want it signed or backdated to do it themselves. Some may think I'm not a team player but I am responsible for my own actions. If I get hurt on the job because I didn't follow proper procedures then it is on me if I knew what was the correct regulation stated. Apparently the whistle blower knew what was suppose to have been done but did not take the responsibility to protect herself. Dumb, Dumb, Dem.

Seems to me that the administration did exactly the right thing by freezing and limiting travel from countries where the virus had spread starting in January. The first death outside of China was not until Jan 31, 2020. Prior to that time no-one had a good handle how bad this virus would be. Even now there is not surety that it is a flu. Is it animal related or did it come out of a laboratory in China. In the past we just monitored these things like swine flu, sars, e-bola etc. How many have died in the USA? Zero so far. Thank Trump for that.

The lady from the CDC that told the press how she had told her kids that it was inevitable that this virus was coming to the USA was the major factor that caused the markets to sell off. Her reckless comments, even if true, caused fear and panic in the general population. It is the Presidents duty to try and stem fear and speculation. She may be right but Trump also may be right. Like he said "let's wait and see". What would have been the reaction if Trump said "oh yeah thousands of your neighbors are going to die because it's inevitable" ?

There are doctors and experts in the CDC who have worked in the past on some major health crises. There are also a lot of logistics and co-ordination that has to be done and sometimes it's better to let the doctors do their thing and let others implement their recommendations and keep track of data from all sources. We have had other so called Czars in the past. Some good and some bad.

Funding, I feel, is the real gist of all the complaints. Let us blow this crisis out of proportion so we can demand more money. 2.5 billion dollar's may not be enough but it is a start and now it looks like it will be 4 billion because there was money left over from the e-bola crisis. Like Trump said " if more is needed that he's sure it can be gotten".
