How bout you not own a gun. I myself will own one. Not being able to defend myself or my family is an unacceptable risk. Liberals can go [perform an unnatural act]. Your defunding of police, lack of support for police, letting criminals out of jail, letting criminals into the country by the thousands, and your GREAT SOCIETY social programs is what creates what an unacceptable risk from crime.

Arrest these killers. Try them. Give them one appeal. Then starting hanging or electrocuting them (publicly), and then maybe can have a dialog about gun control.

I understand, particularly about having lived American history. It’s sobering to know that at age 75 I’ve lived through nearly 1/3 of America’s history.

 

Those on both sides of this issue oppose murder. Unfortunately, attacking the rights of good people only makes things worse. Many believe that they are safer with unarmed citizens. History shows otherwise.

No one claims that gun violence is a right. Owning a gun however IS a Right.

 

Actually BOTH parties have not changed all that much. Republicans are STILL about individuals. And Democrats are STILL about groups.

Your side seems to be for totally unrestricted and unregulated access and ownership of fire arms of all kinds, including those for which no argument can be made regarding self defense or hunting. The carnage taking place on our streets, in our schools, and in our churches is the price you willingly, vociferously, and gleefully pay for that unrestricted, unregulated right.

The Constitution says nothing about hunting or self defense. What the Constitution does say is that a citizen’s right to own and bear arms shall not be infringed.
