    It was a generalization. But truth be told for every new and innovative movie I could point to remakes of Total Recall, Batman, Superman rehashes and generic exorcism movies.

    I don't think I have ever seen this movie. But I know what you mean when Hollywood can't just leave it alone. It drives me crazy when they make sequels, prequels and REMAKES on films that should just not ever be touched. There are some films worthy of remakes and there have been some good prequels and sequels...but good god, leave the classics alone.

    I hate it when Disney feels the need to make more spinoffs of their classic films too. Drives me crazy because so many of them are just so bad.

    I don't mind disney spinoffs so much because they're kids movies and kids eat that (*)(*)(*)(*) up.

    Especially young kids. If you have a 3 year old you can pop in the same tape of the same episode of Sesame Street and that kid will be entertained by it every single time. Young kids really like seeing the same characters doing the same things. That's why a lot of kids shows like Power Rangers for example follow a very simple formula to the T every time.

    Spielberg was apparently the one who kept it from being worse.

    In an interview, he said Lucas actually wanted the second indiana jones movie to be set in a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing haunted house Xl
