You know what my ideal podcast would be? Getting a poker table, playing poker and discussing politics with some beer. Obviously the audience wouldn't see us playing poker, but it'd be so much fun.
I understand, but I feel like we the people get enough opinions on a regular basis and not enough facts.......to quote Friday....."Just the facts Mama"
The reason I don't listen to podcasts is because I get frustrated by not having the means to challenge or question something I don't think is morally right, or I suspect is true/false.
I believe he means that he likes to be able to interact with someone, ask them questions, challenge their views etc. Maybe you can include a forum (similar to this one). Most people enjoy being able to interact with other people. A podcast is a one-way medium.
Ideally I'd like to do something with a "live-audience" of sorts, after a period of time. I'd want to get a system down for the baseline, but after we're somewhat set, there's no reason we can't do a live stream with a chatroom where viewpoints can be talked about as they come out. I think it's a good plan after things get established. As far as including a forum, that's something that would be up to the staff. I don't know any of them, nor do I have any affiliation with them. This is entirely a personal venture.
1. about 30 minutes but it has to be good to get even that. If you don't have me in the first 4 I will never listen to the rest. 2. No. 3. People doing novel things to address whatever problems 4. You mean shy away from doing a podcast? I Just think it would be boring.
