It's interesting in this thread that the left act like if this man didn't have a gun, he'd be a model citizen who respected laws if he hadn't have possession of a gun. It's all about the gun.

 

The other option, and it's an absolutely unthinkable one to leftists, is to hold the criminal accountable for his actions. What choice do they have?

 

So you think this guy's problem was that he owned too many guns and not that he's a violent savage ready to shoot someone for no reason?

Does the article mention how many guns he owns, or just what he did with the one he was no doubt illegally carrying at the time?

Its not that forums like this did not have unabashed racists, who would post stuff like some of the above, all along. Every forum has a couple. What's really different nowadays, is the string of 4 or 5 posters who are unashamed to publicly and brazenly endorse it by clicking that 'like' button. That's a post Trump phenomena.

Let's be clear that during the January 6th that violent mob beating cops was predominantly white and gained access to capitol, and only 1 shot was fired..... while cops have absolutely no problem to use all the force needed and some more if a black person resists.

Data does not back up your statement. Data shows us that the more (or less) guns we have has no affect on gun violence. If you truly want to reduce gun violence, then you'll have to be prepared to change the culture that leads to gun (or any) violence.

 

Let's have just one example, to start (and yes, I'm fully expecting 'police profiling', but I'll be delighted by a deviation from the tired trope!).
