I learned many years ago you cannot reason with a willfully ignorant individual. If you do not know the US Constitution and you do not know the details of the patriot act, I am under no obligation to inform you.

Thank YOU TOG. Ignorance and misery love company, and you and I are parting ways.

Paul of Tarsus was talking about Torah, not duly legislated laws.

Would you be interested in proving that?

It really doesn't matter, his point makes perfect sense. NT v. Old Testament.

Please - continue to prove you cannot support your claim at your leisure.
You made a claim; you are obligated to support it.
    But you can't.

    The jist from the left:
We don't have any issue with people being here illegally, so long as they contribute to society, can be exploited for cheap, illegal labor, or may someday vote for us.

I like a legal system founded on a Constitution and the "rule of law". If you wish to go back to the Wild West and have chaos, rape, death and destruction, something like in Mexico and El Salvador now, then by all means turn your back on the Constitution of the United States.

I really do not care about all of the emotional games about breaking up families, stopping domestic criminals nor any of the other diversionary tactics played by The Leftness. The simple fact of them being here, even those who come here as children, is a violation of immigration federal law.
Some people behave like it is a crime to enforce borders and immigration laws when it is NOT. Secured borders is a guarantee of national sovereignty.

agree, but this is a simple problem to have solved after the last mass Amnesty, after that, they should of made if a felony with a mandatory 10 year sentence to knowingly hire an illegal... then if no jobs, no one comes here illegally

the rich like the cheap labor and\or jobs Americans wont do, that is the only reason those in government wont tackle the real issue

There was no NT canon at that time when Paul was writing. Paul of Tarsus was one of the few who qualified to sit under Gamaliel, and he was talking about Torah, and was among the experts on Torah in Israel.

"Therefore by the deeds of the law [Torah] there shall no flesh be justified in his [God's] sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Legislated laws are not concerned with sin against God, or the knowledge of sin.

I can't imagine what the guy was thinking. He had an opportunity to get his green card and all he had to do was play by the rules. Maybe he had a sense of entitlement. Well, he may find he isn't as entitled as he thinks.

I'll reserve my sympathy for less educated people who might have genuinely been confused by the rules, not this guy.

No need to change the law, just enforce the ones we have.

    8 U.S.C. 1227 (a)(1)(C)(i)

Nonimmigrant status violators.-Any alien who was admitted as a nonimmigrant and who has failed to maintain the nonimmigrant status in which the alien was admitted or to which it was changed under section 248 , or to comply with the conditions of any such status, is deportable.

I took the glorious opportunity to throw that in. Soymen give me the utter sh!ts, because they're creating sons who are very confused about maleness, and more susceptible to depression and suicidal ideation as a result. It does not serve male-kind to pretend that 'warrior' is a social construct.

Most poor people have--or had--jobs. There's an underlying reality a lot of people don't consider and that's all the people around who aren't very bright. They're struggling in a world that increasingly requires skills to earn a decent living.

I think you're wrong in assuming that the rise in mental illness has had anything to do with gender norms. Hell, if men didn't need to feel so tough we'd probably seek help sooner. I think it's much more likely that our abnormally alienating and high-stress culture are responsible

Picking tomatoes did not require brains

Neither do most of the jobs that illegal aliens perform

And they work for less that what welfare will pay for doing nothing

It's sad for sure in this guy's situation, but there can't be double standards because all the indigent south of the border will take advantage. Nancy Pelosi and the dems have entitled these people (FOR THEIR VOTES) and now the illegals stand indignantly in the streets screaming about their rights! For years many have come here just to live off welfare with no intention of learning the language or getting a job. The ones that do work take American's jobs. The rest just want to stay home all day doing nothing but pop out kid after kid. Kids which continue to overload classrooms taking most of the teachers attention due to the language barrier. And this while welfare entitlement programs keeps growing the debt into the trillions with no end in sight.

Therefore, democrats need to stop their corruption of trying to harvest votes for their own power hungry agendas and think about what's best for the country or their actions will continue to erode the economy until America is the same as Mexico, Greece, or Venezuela.

Laws are laws, they need to be followed or it will bring the entire house of cards down.

If the police are called to a park with a report of a gang of men raping women, children and dogs then killing them. The police arrive and there's a bunch of kids playing Frisbee on lawn clearly marked "keep off the grass, $50 fine". Should the police say "Why those youths are violating the law in plain view, we must arrest them because after all it's the law" meanwhile ignoring the screams coming from the woods?
Going after people doing no real harm while you have limited resources, overloaded detention centers and immigration courts that periodically have to liberate nasty people because they can't be tried in a timely fashion is stupid. It's beyond stupid. If you put the thousands of hours and millions dollars that have been spent going after essentially harmless or in this case a positive person into chasing down even one murderer instead I'd count that a plus. Imagine how bad things will get backed up when the Dreamers get dumped into the system.
To use the right's tactic...Why are you protecting gangs of murderers?
