    Melania Trump Grants a Christmas Wish to South Dakota Mom Who Sent her a Letter

    First Lady Melania Trump has probably received a few letters since she became the most important woman in America, but one of those letters stands out. When a mom from South Dakota sent the letter to Melania, she was not expecting a reply. The mother of two, Candace Schumacher, let her Christmas wish go, and made peace with the fact she won’t get her wish granted. Just about that time, a letter from Melania Trump made its way to Schumacher’s house, saying “her dream had just come true.”

    Candace Schumacher takes particular interest in Christmas decor and she spent years decorating other people’s property and even decorated the South Dakota Capitol- inside and out.

    Her family laughed off her attempt to contact Melania Trump and offer her help with the Christmas decorations. It does indeed seem a little ‘dreamy’ if you really think about it. Still, she believed it was the right thing to do, and there was nothing that could bring her spirits down.

    It wasn’t until October that she received a letter that read, “From the Office of the First Lady of the United States.” Candace was in utter disbelief. She opened the letter and found out that First Lady Melania Trump is inviting her to the White House to help decorate it. Candace’s happiness was immense.

    “I’m so humbled and grateful for this opportunity. Hundreds of thousands of people will be seeing this on TV and it’s such an honor to represent Watertown and South Dakota as well,” Schumacher said. “I’m proud for Watertown and South Dakota. I don’t think another person from the state has ever done this before.”

    This was Candace’s first trip to Washington, D.C., which made the surprise that much special. Details regarding the story were not provided, or as per Aberdeen News reported, “Many of the details are being kept secret from the selected candidates.”

    Melania is pure grace and great taste in her choice of clothing. Her clothing is no more expensive than Michelle's clothes but what a difference in taste. Melania looks so gracious when she is out and about. No climbing out of an airplane in wrinkled shorts for her.

    Barron is nearly as tall as his mom (in heels!) And he's only 11!

    Good looking kid. Glad to see he's got moms sense of style. :)

    Melania has all the looks, fashion experience and poise one would expect from an elite professional model.
    We should probably cut Michelle some slack on the fashion thingy.

    But then she is a Chicago Democrat so maybe not. ;-)

    I like both women for different reasons.
    I must admit if I was going to have to select one to have a nice long lunch with I would find Michelle more interesting and intriguing.

    Yeah, if I was given the choice of lunch with one of their husbands, must admit I'd find Donald Trump more interesting and intriguing than lunch with Barack & his teleprompter. LOL
