So, are you just assuming a small protest represents almost 62 million people? Can we assume welfare queens and freeloaders represented 65 million people who voted for Obama?

 

Is that why Lincoln had to enslave every male of fighting age in the north and coming from the immigrant boats to fight against the south? The biggest revisionist of the civil war are the people who think the north was fighting to abolish slavery.

Many of the new immigrants who you speak of had just recently rejected the aristocratic styled oppression that they had been living under before they came to the US.
The Irish immigrants were all incensed when the Prince of Wales was greeted with such a warm welcome to the US in 1860.

The common soldier in the Union ranks viewed the Southern Aristocrats with the same feelings of distain.

 

Virginia went for Obama twice, Hillary once, has two democratic Senators and a democratic Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General.
