ABC News falsely reports Manafort pleaded guilty to manslaughter; Trump blasts network

It is interesting how absolutely bald faced, unabashedly false the news has become.
For the institution that is so essential to American freedom to so blatantly debase themselves and devalue their importance is a whole new historical low. Any journalist who remains silent and does not push back on their colleagues who bring the institution down, will deserve the criticism and lack of trust in their fake news, and the booing and hissing they hear from Americans.

This was an attempt to preempt the message from Trump on the families who have actually been PERMANENTLY separated from their children. The limbo stick gets lower and lower.

 

I saw this graphic on Facebook and thought it was an internet meme. How could ABC be so stupid?

 

The error was corrected after 10 seconds or so.. but of course Trump went wild.

 

If Trump actually ever corrected his lies he might have some basis for critiquing the errors of the news media.

No, see, that's where a lot of the Left is mistaken. Politicians lie, Obama got lie of the year in 2014 remember? Our media, our FBI agents. We hold them to a higher standard. A standard of impeccability. And if they think that's unfair, they should quit their various professions. Basically, we can sum it up like this:

Do I wish Trump told the truth 100% of the time? Yeah, but it's politics.
Do I expect the FBI to tell the truth 100% of the time? Yes I do.

See the difference in standards? We must demand more of our highest agencies. Excusing them of propaganda use, devalues the agency of the media.

Somebody still had to type that in there. The producers were probably in the control room saying they should put that message out there and some intern took them seriously. Guess who takes the fall on this and it's not the producers.

 

Except for the fact that the media acknowledges and corrects their mistakes as soon as they become aware you might actually have a legitimate point. The difference with Trump is he never admits his lies and expects his staff to lie for him.

And Trump's record of lying vastly exceeds any other President in history. I think he is upward of about Three thousand documented lies and that hasn't even taken him two years.
