Not trivializing. I would rather there were not abortions - but it is a reality we deal with. It is a law that would be impossible to enforce. It would be a law that would be enforced solely against the poor who could not go on "vacation". The only way to determine if miscarriages were induced or not would be to physically exam EVERY woman who had one. So let's hear your enforcement mechanism. Tell us how it all works.
no more than someone who passes a dead body on the street and doesn't call the cops assuming a crime has taken place. That all youve got? nobody is required by law to assume a crime has taken place with no evidence.
No , you're the one lying about it being a 'child" , it isn't. It's a fetus...and a fetus has no rights because it isn't legally a person.
A woman's doctor tells her that she to be bed-ridden the last trimester. She gets up and goes to walk the dog, and has a miscarriage. Under your law, she would have to be charged with a crime. Walk me through that.
The woman was pregnant - then she wasn't. That's evidence of a possible crime under our proposed law.
First of all tell me how you made that leap? using your logic she would automatically be arrested if her husband has a heart attack k and died.
You mean you can't find a way to make your law work. Welcome to the conclusion of the Justices in Roe v. Wade.
I am just quoting federal law. Literally says "child in utero at any stage of development". No lies here.
r u ****ing serious???????????? i posted the text of the law and it said abortion is not a crime even under the law.
I did not say abortion isn' a homicide, in fact the exception proves it does consider it a homicide. just a legal one, like self defense.
homicide is the killing of a person by another person. show us the law declaring personhood rights upomn fetuses.
