Perhaps you might consider who you want to have power over your decisions and control your life. Then you have the answer, at least your answer, to both questions.

    Translation please.

Oh yes. The same way alcohol consumption stopped cold with passage of the 18th amendment.

Rights we have are determined by the people.
    They change all the time.
It's why only certain types of arms are legal and many many are not.

    human being

    |
SEE MORE SYNONYMS FOR human being ON THESAURUS.COM
    noun
any individual of the genus Homo, especially a member of the species Homo sapiens.
a person, especially as distinguished from other animals or as representing the human species:
    https://www.dictionary.com/browse/human-being

    human (adj.)
mid-15c., humain, humaigne, "human," from Old French humain, umain (adj.) "of or belonging to man" (12c.), from Latin humanus "of man, human," also "humane, philanthropic, kind, gentle, polite; learned, refined, civilized." This is in part from PIE *(dh)ghomon-, literally "earthling, earthly being," as opposed to the gods (from root *dhghem- "earth"), but there is no settled explanation of the sound changes involved. Compare Hebrew adam "man," from adamah "ground." Cognate with Old Lithuanian žmuo (accusative žmuni) "man, male person."

    https://www.etymonline.com/word/Human
    From your link.

So, I have stated before, human sperm is human and human egg is human based on your definition. For each of them is 'of man, human'.

Sorry, typo in iPhone. I showed you were wrong.

I’m sorry that you can’t grasp basic legal facts, I really am. Nobody is a slave in the US, and have not been since then13th amendment.

I claimed a child is dependent after birth to survive. You said no it isn’t. That is contradicting not showing I’m wrong.

You claimed they were dependent on a mother’s body, after they were born. That is false.

Where are you getting lost? The 13th amendment abolished slavery, In any form. That people break the law has no relevance to the fact your claim of percentages of slavery is demonstrably false.

There is all kinds of control on alcohol.

The hypocritical part is people whining and moaning about rules and controls on one thing and never concerning themselves with all the other things that have rules and controls, probably because they understand the reasons for rules and controls.

In the natural state it is true. I can take the embryo and make it dependent on someone other than the mother artificially as well. Before formula a nursemaid was the only way to circumvent dependence.

I’m trying to get you to think outside the leftist box. You claimed authoritatively slavery hasn’t existed since the 13th amendment. That’s demonstrably false. We call it human trafficking now. Doesn’t make it not slavery.

We all must work to survive. If our labor or fruits of it are taken against our will it fits the definition of slavery. I’m not sure why picking cotton on a plantation is the only type of slavery leftists can recognize. Because statist mess with definitions or parse words doesn’t change the facts.

And before anyone goes off on public goods etc., I understand that. But a system designed to efficiently supply those things isn’t what we have. What we have is a system admittedly designed to take as much as possible from me without making me revolt and die in an uprising or take the underground railway to somewhere more free. You call that what you will, but it’s slavery by percentages and it’s antithetical to the principles this country was founded on. Just as antithetical as the slavery abolished by the 13th amendment and the first Civil War. And just as antithetical as the human trafficking we see today.

If we are going to advocate for freedom let’s be consistent and advocate for as much freedom for everyone as possible. Apparently some don’t even realize 100% slavery exists here today. Or care about it when it’s pointed out. It’s no surprise then they don’t recognize any other.

So there will be less unwanted babies.

All of a sudden abstinence is a bad thing.

In the good old days, all the old couch potatoes would freak out because the condom broke or they didn't even use a condom.

Yeah, old people never sit on their fat asses complaining about everything on the internet.

When someone says “more controls” that means they understand some control exists, no?

No you contradicted. You have yet to substantiate a claim. On science or slavery.

So controls are needed for everything.

There are new alcohol laws all the time.

How are those laws working out? The idea controls are needed for everything exists only in the mind of statists.

So you'd rather have no law against drinking and driving.

Or any other law because none of them work.

    Gee, that seems sensible.

To hell with the message... that way it's not necessary to learn anything or change position. Got it.
Just demand you get your way like a small child throwing a tantrum, and government will provide because you deserve it.

Where did I say that? I’m for punishment for those that harm others. I’m not for punishment of those who don’t. It’s that simple.

As far as drinking and driving, the law against it isn’t too effective. My wife’s cousin did it for 20 years. Lost his license, spent time in county, spent thousands on attorneys. Never stopped. Crashed one night out in the middle of nowhere one night it was 20 below and froze to death.

Laws without effective punishment are worthless.

Laws that prevent a woman from carrying a firearm because a teen shot up a school are the equivalent of putting every person with a can of beer or bottle of whiskey in their home in jail for thirty days every time a drunk kills someone.

In my opinion we have too many laws and not enough personal responsibility.

Laws that are followed can be beneficial, but the problem with laws is that people tend to allow them to replace social values. When people look to the state to do the job that society does, it tends to create an ever greater need for the state, and less for society.
