Barr can release it unless he's covering up for the president. Congress which is at the beginning stages of investigating the Putin/Trump regime and its' campaign can demand Mueller testify and it's investigative committees can look into any leads generated from testimony. Crooked Trump's illicit organizations are also being investigated by the Southern District of New York. That whole thing, if we remember was set up by Sally Yates in her zeal to prosecute the Administration under the Logan Act.(Though her responsibility was to be COUNSEL to the administration, not to prosecute it.) She was the first awful apple to drop, thanks to her resistance to actually doing her job.

Imagine if she actually tried to pretend, even a little. She might've kept the job longer but obviously she wasn't very smart and is now unemployed.

 

And the SDNY has a very weak case, that's predicated on Cohen's testimony. So you'd have to essentially believe that Cohen is a mind reader, and/or get others to vouch and say "Yeah, this is the way Trump talks". The way Trump talks, conveniently lets Cohen set up other accounts for him to store HIS illicit goods!

It's obvious to me, what's happening. Cohen, in order to lower his sentence is trying to implicate Trump. But his testimony is so weak, any seasoned defense lawyer would rip it into a million pieces. Blaming others for your own actions, is something we haven't conceded to since we expanded autonomy in regards to abortion.

The willing self-action of an individual cannot be controlled or manipulated, until you show signs of that actually happening.
