Biden does not have complete control, who told you that, Republicans can still block Biden from helping the people, dems do not have the votes

what dems do have, is the power to force a vote... all those votes McConnell blocked like $2000 checks, the Marijuana legalization bill, ect.... (but they still need republican votes for anything to pass into law)

so this allows the people to actually see how republicans votes and know who it was denying them the help they so badly need

Trump held up pretty well, considering that the media which put Obama on a pedestal daily despite poor leadership was the same media which trashed Trump daily and never once recognized any of his accomplishments.

Both men ran pretty even until after the first term election.

I'm not glad Trump lost the election, but I see a silver lining when I can. The silver lining to this last election is that after 4 years of hating and criticizing everything Trump did, now the Democrats have the House, they have the Senate, and they have the Presidency. So they have had 4 years to get it right, and that is exactly what I expect of them - with no excuses, no deflections to Trump, no Republicans to stand in their way. Everything that happens is their responsibility and theirs alone. Should be fun to watch.

 

Yes, it's called going back to normal! But first, Biden has to fumigate to get all the bugs Trump has left behind.

 

"Normal" isn't especially appealing to me, given the corrupt nature of Washington, D.C., and its marriage to lobbyists and the media, its cowardice and duplicity, and its comfort zone in the swamp.

Nevertheless, I expect Democrats to have all the right answers to our problems, and peace, joy, and fairy dust for all. And if we don't get that, there will be no one to blame but them.

Seeing how Trump is the first president since Herbert Hoover to lose both the house, the senate, and reelection, I think there are plenty of rational thinking Republicans who are happy to move on from Trump, but I wouldn't say many of them are necessarily glad he's leaving office.

Not in the least. It only showed that there are stupid people on both sides of the aisle.

 

People are shaped by the information given to them by MSM and all those organizations are owned by large corporations who don't have the interests of everyday Americans in their mind, let alone a priority. We need to reshape media if we want to tip America back on the right track. America needs to be of the people and for the people, once more.

 

I have no power to reshape the media. All I can do is ignore what it says.
