Trump Landslide unless they somehow find an alternate dimension to hide all the fraudulent ballots they will need.

Trump’s not the only one with visions of Goldwater and McGovern dancing in his head.

Will they roll up their sleeves and get to work on real world solutions to the issues we face? Hell no.

Everything is a P. R. issue down in this rabbit hole. Nothing that a heavy dose of deception and a dash of magical thinking can’t cure. Buckle up!

We haven’t seen this iteration of panic before.

Trump was very clear from the beginning that the cure cannot be worse than the disease. The Dem's lockdown is clearly worse than the disease. They refuse to come up with a plan that's better than the disease. No Dems even mentioned a plan that's better than the disease.

It's Trump's job to come up with a plan as well ... or is he just an empty suit with no power ... or was it because he didn't take it seriously.

Once again, the right wing spin on the pandemic is absurd and delusional.
The fact is that the countries suffering the worst are the ones with stupid, corrupt leaders and selfish citizens. People like trump, putin, bolsonaro and even boris johnson made the pandemic worse in their own countries and added to the death toll because of their poor leadership. The most successful countries acted quickly and responsibly and benefitted from the character of their leaders and their intelligent reactions to the pandemic.
For all we know, the economy will be back on track by the end of the year, or this could be the first wave of a plague that will cripple the world's economies.
People can forgive a bad economy if they see that it's a shared burden worldwide, but what will stick in voters' memories will be the spectacle of trump's deplorable performance and lack of leadership in a time of crisis and his supporters' selfishness in wanting to throw the old and weak under the bus to help their financial situation.
I find the sight of trump strutting like an idiot popinjay at his coronavirus campaign rallies disgusting, and I suspect most of the country and the world agrees with me.

2,000,000 American were predicted to have died, 1,000,000 with distancing. And you think ONLY 100,000 is a "failure"? Especially when many accounts from doctors say they are padding the figures.

Those scientists said we would have 200k - 300k deaths with mitigation. So far we’ve come under that by leaps and bounds. Given that we are past the peak, we will never hit 200k

Sounds like trump is doing a great job to me.

Are you seriously thinking that Trump had control of NYC, the worst place for the US towards the response? Without the democratically controlled city which MANDATED sick and contagious elderly be put into nursing homes, the US is the best is the world. Sweden didn't lock down, they are better of with death rates AND their economy is still in tact.
Yep, back on track economy will be great for Trump and Obama cant jump in and take credit anymore.
Again, Trump never mandated people who were sick be put into nursing homes. The worst place the disease has hit are Blue states or Blue cities. That's not Trumps fault.
You show exactly what people on this thread are saying, its the media controlled narrative which has to be over come more than the policies the GOP puts together.

At first it was in the millions, the 200k was their 3rd or 4th prediction.

Really? I think you should look at the timeline. You'll see that they were covering them, but cutting away at times. And Fox continued covering them. So why would Trump abandon his loyal followers at Fox - especially when the ratings were so fantastic?

The pressers slowed significantly after the disinfectant comment. In his first one after it, he refused to take questions.

I'll agree they weren't necessary, but mostly because they were rallies - not press conferences.

    That's not true.

Repeating a lie over and over again won't make it true.

Why does Trump need to keep playing up to his base? They've been supporting him for years. Those who were coming over to approve Trump was not FNC watchers. Hence why CNN stopped covering the pressers live.

"Trying" to control, and being "in control", are two entirely different things.

What isn't true? That the first prediction is was more than 2 million deaths in the US?
    https://www.theblaze.com/louder-wit...e-2-2-million-covid-19-deaths-in-us-originate
    https://reason.com/2020/03/31/2-2-million-american-deaths-from-covid-19/
    https://www.rawstory.com/2020/03/2-...plains-staggering-challenge-from-coronavirus/

That was even from MSNBC, so...I am not sure who you believe when it was first predicted by the left.

    BS.

Initial estimates in early March predicted between 60,000 and 250,000 deaths for the whole of 2020.

Most of the Trumpsters in this forum, including your beloved President, have ridiculed these predictions.

We're down to 100,000 deaths in three months....

CNN and other news outlets stopped covering the pressers because they were filled with faulty information and propaganda that had the potential to kill Americans who are too stupid to see through Trump's BS.

What do travel bans have to do with stay-at-home orders?

Again connecting dots that don't exist?

the scientist and doctors are who is responsible for the shutdown

not trump, not democrats, not republicans

leaders world wide asked the doctors and scientists how to best fight the corona virus

the shutdown is what was suggested not only in this country ..but all countries

the countries that best followed the advice have recovered the fastest and with fewest deaths

china shut down Wuhan the end of January 2020..

but prior to the shutdown the damage had been done

tourists and Chinese workers had already spread it throughout the world ...

the question now should be is there a way to stop the virus without breaking down the economy

first and foremost the focus of the politicians should be on a cure or vaccine...

second should be creating jobs that can be done while still social distancing until the answers are found

third should be electing leaders that are competent and have empathy for the working man...

the masses are who need help and assistance. the large corporations such as oil and country clubs and $1000 dollar a night hotels and $300 dollar a plate restaurants can wait

the large corporations and the wealthy will have plenty of time to rebound when this is over

after all , there is gonna be a lot more money in circulation down the road

and fourth... blame china, they are an easy target

it will make people feel better to play the blame game

I don't give a damn what Joe Scarborough says.

If you look a little harder you'll probably find a model that predicted the deaths of 10 million Americans. It'll give you even more credit for Trump's extraordinary handling of this crisis.

Serious models, the ones used by the Trump Administration predicted around 85,000 deaths for 2020.

They were outdated in less than three months...

This just shows that you don't understand how "peaks" work. As many people will die on the way back down as did those that died on the way up.

    There's your 200k right there.
