Trump REFUSED to look at relief until after the election. And now, since he lost, he has no interest in it again. Basically, Trump DOES NOT CARE about Covid. He only wants it to go away because it cost him the election.


If Trump had handled Covid well, and maybe not made fun of McCain, he almost certainly would have won re-election.

The science says masks slow the spread u fortunately it does not say to what degree. And that comes with a caveat, namely when properly used. Apparently in hospitals where they are used religiously, and classes on how to use them are required and yet health care workers still get it.

The best answer I can give to that is resign. He's just not qualified. The other thing was not lie. But short of that, and apart from what he should have done, these are some ideas as to what he should be doing now.

Fascism and Democracy are the two opposites in the field of the political spectrum. If you insist on spouting political opinions its useful in getting them right occasionally.

 

We are a constitutional republic. Democrat fascists dictating law bypassing the legislature is counter to being a constitutional republic.

 

I'm afraid the health of Americans is judged on profit rather than need. They won't allow any medical supplies into the country thus forcing americans to pay for the most expensive supplies world wide.So you won't be getting a vaccine until they have one of their own, they would rather see thousands die than drop their hold on the market.

He did. In blue run states the reaction to the virus was entirey fascist, top down authoritarian. And it utterly failed to prevent anything. Yet many seem to want to repeat the failed experiment jack booted authoritarianism.

 

I don't know and I don't care. What I know beyond a doubt is that government forcing businesses to close should never have become a way to fight the virus. We should do the best we can without doing that. It is authoritarian and un-American. Whether or not it is effective isn't an issue. Period.

Having said that I think it would be fine for government to warn people about patronizing businesses that could be a source of spread. Let people make a choice. If some businesses are forced to close for lack of customers then, at least, you can blame the virus for it and not the government. As it is government bears all the fault. I never should have happened.

 

I'm not surprised you don't have an answer. None of that makes sense to me. The role of federal government should not be to join the authoritarian parade of the states. Its role should be to help the states and Trump has done that in spades. Trump has handled the virus very well. The governors and mayors, on the other hand have made a mess of it. You can thank Trump for the vaccines that are now becoming available in record time.

I have yet to get a reasonable answer to that question.
